Dive Into Warlord Games’ Spring Sprue Sale!
May 16, 2025 by brennon
If you're looking for a handful of sprues for some of Warlord Games' wargames then you might want to check out the Spring Sprue Sale that is going on right now on their website!
Sprue Sale // Warlord Games
The Sprue Sale offers 50% off a selection of their plastic sprues, allowing you to bolster units and get a few extra bits and pieces for the likes of Hail Caesar, Black Powder, Pike & Shotte, Epic Battles and of course, Bolt Action.
Warlords of Erehwon is also in the mix if you'd like to go down the Fantasy route. It should be noted that the sprues on offer don't include your bases so you'll want to dive into your collection to find some of those.
Will you be checking out the Sprue Sale from Warlord Games?

you’ll be able to grab some of the worst skeletons @sundancer XD
Still waiting on my order from Fantasywelt.
I wouldn’t cry too much about it; they’re doing you a favour!
Literally the worst. Warlord has decent rules, nice vehicles, terrible models. Awful proportions, gurning leering faces (not a skeleton problem, obvs).
But hey, I’m sure there’s something worth getting.
Well Warlord has never hidden the fact they don’t do pure simulation/historicals. Instead their whole ethos is rather the make games that look like the old A5 “War”, “Battle” etc comic books of the 60 and 70s (made in Scotland don’tcha know). So the figures are characters that look like the old black and white comic book images. Why even their logo harkens back to those old comic books you used to get down at the newsagents. Likewise the rules lean towards the whole comic book scripts of dashing deeds and foiling the plans of the “enemy”. So they don’t play as a simulation, rather more towards a “fun” game with WW2 trimmings. The figures aren’t my cup of tea either, but many players seem to like them and don’t seem that interested in running out and buying better proportioned sculpts and more in depth rules (with more realistic ranges). Bolt Action is basically like the old versions of 40K, but instead of Space Marines, you get “Real” Marines instead 😀 But one thing I would add, even with the sprues being in a sale, they are still extremely expensive in my eyes (charging GW prices here). They are a lot cheaper in the box sets, but buying them a singles is extremely expensive (and sole destroying).
damm i missed it
