Final steps on the Magmadroth were to pick out all the runes with Greedy Gold, followed by a wash with strong tone ink and then added some highlights with shining silver. The silver was a bit bright so I used the wrong time ink again to knock the brightness back. I then picked out the beady eyes with multiple thin layers of yellow.

the wash worked really brought out the details 🙂 looking great 😉
Thanks, as you suggest, I decided to leave the tongue without any further highlights or dry brushing. The wash bought the colours together nicely taking the harshness away from the bright yellow and orange, and collecting in the ridges on the tongue. I thought anything more might look a bit unrealistic (as opposed to a giant fiery dragon beast looking realistic 🙂 )
