Base coated 
Base coat was roughly 6 drops paint 3 drops varnish 1 drop flow improver and 3 parts thinner
Then a few panels highlighted with this
Then I applied a filter to make tonal changes to panels 
Few more details painted and a wash applied 
Matt varnish and a bit of crew try out,leaving to dry before adding dirt and dust

Awesome idea for a project @figure11 – not many people focus this early in Soviet military history. Did you have a campaign / game in mind for this? Soviets vs. Japanese in Mongolia 1938/39? Finland 1939-40? Even early Barbarossa 1941? Or are you think of going all the way back to Spanish Civil War 1936?
Well @oriskany funny you should say that , getting my stuff ready for a Battlegroup Barbarossa campaign weekend on September 1st at the Entoyment shop in Poole . I wasn’t interested at all in early war Soviet at all as I mainly play British and when the book came out I thought I don’t want to paint 2 million soldiers for the Germans to capture. Boy was I wrong ! Bit the bullet played one game and was hooked. Now I have this obsession about having every possible T26 possible and don’t get me started on the BT7
Yeah, we have BT-5s and BT-7s back in the Barbarossa article series for the 75th Anniversary (June 2016). Also the flamethrowing variant of the T-26 (OT-133). 😀
