First the new bases. I picked up some oval bases at my local game store. Next i got some sculpy and rolled it out to a 1/16th or so inch thickness. I then busted out my shiny new yextured roller! Wooooohoooo!!! sorry. i really like it. Rolled out the texture on the sculpy and baked it. I then glued it to the base. Adding some sand. Trimmed up the sides of the bases. Next is primer. bases are ready for paint.

@thehumungus those roller pins are brilliant, i didnt know about sculpy so im going to give that a try. Ive been using greenstuff,clay something else i cant remember the name of and have been pretty underwhelmed with all of them.
The bases look fantastic i am definitely trying this out on an army.
