Refinished (rattle canned) & re-used a simple Ikea table. 
After a good search found an adjustable height heavy work bench 52" x 24" (132cm x 61cm) and can raise to 38" (96cm). The adjust-ability is to ensure that I have storage space under it in case it is needed. Got this from Home Depot for around $200 US. Supported by (Turn Off)
