Another mini I bought as soon as it came out and never got around to painting. Also for some reason I glued the wings in! Obviously I didn’t care about storage or transport. Then I did, and sawed its wings off with the intention of pinning them. Never got around to that either.

So now, a dozen or so years later, it’s time to get it done!

Wings now have pins in them. Sprayed grey the zenithed with Greyseer and white. Skin done with contrast Iyanden yellow. Wings now have pins in them. Sprayed grey the zenithed with Greyseer and white. Skin done with contrast Iyanden yellow.
Scales done with Warp Lightning green, with a bit of Ork Flesh to darken it nearer the spine. Magos purple for the mouth and tongue. Scales done with Warp Lightning green, with a bit of Ork Flesh to darken it nearer the spine. Magos purple for the mouth and tongue.
It’s a ginger! GryphHound orange for the spine. It’s at this point my plans change. It was just going to be a pretty standard yellow and green forest dragon but I really like the fiery orange...It’s a ginger! GryphHound orange for the spine. It’s at this point my plans change. ...so the wings are going fiery too. Started with Iyanden Yellow. Then GryphHound. Then Wlyldwood. Waited for the previous layers to dry then added the next colour and feathered the edge to blend it with the contrast medium. Seemed to work okay. Also shaded the spine with wyldwood and dry brushed the tips white then put the yellow over to give the same fiery effect. ...so the wings are going fiery too. Started with Iyanden Yellow. Used washes of cyborg brown thinned with contrast medium to smooth the transitions in the wings and darken them a bit. Painted the saddle goregrunta with shying purple cushions. and the armour plates.
