It was time to get some paint down on Dresden. Thankfully, the scheme for Dresden is going to be pretty easy right?

The coat is black as you might imagine and then I went with fancy denim for the jeans. His combat boots were done in a dark brown and then I went for a lighter tone for the magical staff.

The entire miniature got coated in Agrax Earthshade and then I went in and started working on the highlighting and “pop” for the miniature.

The miniature is mostly finished off and I quite like the result. I stopped myself from painting up the gruff stubble as I just didn’t think I could do it.

I might go back in and do a bit of extra work on the coat with grey or dark blue to give it a bit more nuance. Additionally, I may also work on some details for Bob the skull and do some glowing eyes.

Overall, very happy with how the miniature from Hero Forge turned out. This miniature for Dresden is quite simple by comparison to some you could make but I think the detail stuck and it came out just as I would have hoped.

Did you ever watch the short lived Tv show starring Paul Blackthorne?
