Painting Unhealthy Skin
I researched several different skin tones and decided to use an unhealthy light skin tone for the Lord of Khoren and the Bloodstoker. It gives them both a very pale look that contrasts well with the scars.
- Base the skin with Citadel Rakarth Flesh
- Cover the entire skin with Citadel Flayed One Flesh. Use several thin coats to cover the model.
- Wash with Citadel Reikland Fleshshade
- Leaving the wash in the recesses layer with Citadel Flayed One Flesh
- Thin Citadel Screamer Pink to almost a wash like consistency and use it on the scars
- Highlight raised edges of the skin with Citadel Pallid Wych Flesh
