First Unit: The Austrians
I finally finished painting my first unit/warband. As an Austrian painting the locals first wasn’t really a hard choice! I’m not that deep into napoleonics so I kept the painting scheme realtively close to the box art, however great ressources (for example how to paint the webbing and gear on the backside of the minis) are piterest and source books by Osprey or Soldiershop Publishing. I tried not to take this topic of getting the uniforms historical accurate too seriously as it is a alternate fictional scenario in a napoleonic setting so I went with what looked best.
