New Crusaders
The kingdom of JesusalemI have finished two special characters for my crusader force and I’m jolly pleased with Brother Andrew and Brother George. These both are special, limited-edition figures, the knight with the banner is Footsore’s special figure for shows and events and the other figure is actually based on one of the guys who wrote Barons War, was a giveaway figure this year and I have done a simple weapon swap from a two-handed Falchion to a Great Axe. They are both amazing sculpts by Paul Hicks, so full of character.
I have gone for a blue tunic colour based of the Knights of the Kingdom of Jerusalem as seen in the film Kingdom of Heaven, watch the Directors Edition not the normal one and I love the film. I have lightened the blue for the film to a more sky-blue colour and add the yellow Jerusalem Cross. I have reserved the colours for the shield to add some contrast along with the yellow trim. These are the test figures for my Outremer force once it arrives.
