First step was relatively painless. The wood needs filling in places, but the hinges work and it folds up… obviously I didn’t position the hinges incorrectly the first time so it wouldn’t fold… honest!

So after I fixed the hinge problem I tried it on my table and although it’s not perfectly flat (it’s cheap wood and slightly warped) I can fix that with some padded feet, or a table cloth when I use it.

Internal dimensions are 33.5 inches wide by 43 inches long. That assumes I’m taking out the bits of wood on the hinged end… which is on my list.

I have a frostgrave mat that I will trim down along one edge to make it fit the width.

At each of the long ends I’m going to put a bit of green felt down with wooden dividers to provide each player with a die rolling tray, space for tokens and somewhere to put cards for any skimish games.

That’s the plan anyway.

awarding the ‘skill’ button click simply for doing the hinges perfectly the very first time 😉

I’ll follow this project with interest. can you add some rough measurements to it, eg is it good for 3×3 or is it slightly off etc

***edit***
I’m an idiot… I shall now award myself a ‘skill’ button click for being able to read perfectly the very first time
