What I love in Alephs background is its complex interaction and association with humanity, its a really grey character striving to help humanity and help them evolve, either they like it or not.
The Nomads Aleph struggle is a really pivotal point in the background illustrating to what extend humanity is ready to distrust the AI and at what levels the AI is ready to commit crimes in order to keep the Human Sphere in its care.
Recreations is an idea that captivated me personally, Joan d’Arc is not a resurrection of the long dead saint, neither is Sun Tze and all other recreations what they are, is a simulated personality recreated according to what Aleph estimates, the personality would be if it existed in infinity’s present, shaped by the historical facts of the character in question and the specifications the client (in Joan d’Arc’s case PanOceania) asked , so while you do indeed have those ancient characters in Infinity’s background, they do not feel or look odd because they are recreated to be what the present needs them to be.
They are obviously going in Alphabetical order, so going to be a few days before they get to my army Yu Jing. I like the paint job of Aleph. It really gives them a cold artificial feeling.
No one mentioned Achilles and the Myrmidons!!! They are incredible models! I wanted to hear how they fit, and what they played like.
Achilles was recreated as a result of a failed experiment, the powers of the Human Sphere demanded from Aleph a “human sized” TAG body for use as Lhost (the modified body used for resurrected humans), the body was a success, but no human was able to control and all were overloaded by the signal demands the body created.
The experiment was declared a failure, but instead of discarding the body, Aleph decided to keep the body for itself and created a special recreation capable to control such a powerful body, it decided such a powerful body was capable of a warrior as fierce and famous as Achilles of the Iliad, true the recreation proved to be as fierce and capable, but this created a problem, no normal troops of Aleph, or any other faction could keep up with such a fierce personality and Achilles himself was always stuck in the thick of every conflict, not eager to loose such an expensive asset, nor to keep him confined as an expensive toy, Aleph looked again in Iliad for inspiration and recreated a spacial line of recreated troops the Myrmidons, not as powerful as their leader, they are never the less capable of following their leader in hell and back, protecting and assisting him.
Humanity are sheep and ALEPH is their undoing. <3 The Nomads
Nice vid, and I must say the addition of aleph really was the best thing in the Human Sphere book, after seeing the models they became my most favourite faction easily, and I was a loyal PanO citzen before that.
