We all know that in any world there will be those soldiers who sell their skills to the highest bidder, and the world of Infinity is no different. It's time for Carlos to run us through designing the Mercenaries faction and of course take a look at the artwork that didn't make it into their lavish Artbook. WOW! This Anaconda is HOT! The mech is also cool!
Although I don’t own any of the Mercs characters yet (though I will soon correct that with Scarface / Cordelia and the new TAG) every army list starts with two Yuan Yuan. I heart those guys so much!

I waited for a long time Mercs to become a faction of their own, Scarface was a good start Anaconda is a great follow up, I really hope I manage to get one or more in GenCon.
My favourite thing about Mercs is that their weapons are drawn from across the entire Human Sphere.

Yojimbo looks really cool. Bionic arm is something we haven’t really seen before. I don’t really get though how Infinity is an entirely Spanish game but all the cool stuff happens at US events? (Gen Con and Feast of Blades are the two big Infinity events this year) What gives? EU gamers need some Infinity love guys!

I love Mercs in all these skirmish games. They just add so much to the different factions. It allows you to keep playing the faction you like but add a little more flavor if desired.

Mercs are a cool way of not only mixing up your play style but also the aesthetic of your forces. I think the Anaconda squad looks great! Also a fan of Scarface and Cordelia! Cant wait for more models like them!

I’m really considering getting into Infinity. I’d like to find a nice game which uses few models and has a nice fun rule set for when I’m at Uni and can’t cart around a full 1500 point 40K army. I just need to find a few models I like the look of when I’m next down to my LGS which sells infinity and then try and get in a few starter games.

There are quite a few amazing sculpts in this faction which I’m gonna buy.
the artwork of anaconda and pilot is great, maybe too erotic, but definitely great.
I want me some mercs, particularly the Scarface.
I gotta say, mercs are the one thing that’s kinda iffy for me. I don’t feel right about using them in my other armies as they are clearly balance issues with them, but they dont have their own faction. So how do I really use them?
I like that some are part of sectorials, but this concept really needs to be expanded I feel.
They do have by far the coolest TAGs out there, even more than the awesome cutter.
Yojimbo for the win. I really like multi use minis. Merc or Japanese sectoral army at the least.
One thing that I would like to see with the Mercs is for someone to have the traditional merc symbol. After all it is the near future and I think that it would still be in limited use. A circle with a winged arm holding a sword. Maybe a merc Lt or some such.
Love how everything in infinity has a distinct look and then Mercs have their own that sets them apart but still makes them awesome!

Another great looking faction.
Given that pseudo-Merc lists do exist (particularly QK and IS), it is surprising that there isn’t a ‘proper’ Merc list available yet. Still, one can hope the wait would be worth it…
