New Red Corsair Reveal & An Early 2026 Warhammer Preview!

Games Workshop previewed more for Warhammer 40,000 and more of their worlds this week, ahead of a New Year's reveal show coming later this month. We start, however, with another reveal for the Red Corsairs!

Garreon the Corpsemaster // Warhammer 40,000

Earlier in the week, we got a look at the new miniature for Huron Blackheart. Now, we're seeing more of his command crew and the apothecary-turned-corpsemaster, Garreon. She was once the Chief Apothecary of the Astral Claws and there are rumours that it is he who put Huron back together after the Siege of Badab. He certainly looks like he's somewhat crazed and unhinged, doing all sorts of strange experiments behind the scenes.

He will join more of Huron's crew later this year when The Maelstrom supplement is released (which, incidentally, has already been leaked online). You can get a peek at some of the upcoming characters for Huron's crew below.

Red Corsairs // Warhammer 40,000

Huron and the Red Corsairs look to be pitted against the forces of the Aeldari led by Prince Yriel (who will be getting a new plastic miniature!), plus more for Corsairs, including winged warriors and an update to the classic Vyper. I'm sure if you do some quick searching online, you can find those leaks yourself.

New Year Warhammer Preview

More for Huron Blackheart and Warhammer 40,000 will be revealed at a New Year Warhammer Preview coming on 16th January.

The trailer gives some sneaky ideas as to what's coming. I would guess from watching that we'll get the full reveal of The Maelstrom supplement covering the Red Corsairs and Prince Yriel's Aeldari.

The other teasers probably hint at the Adeptus Custodes coming for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy and Elves featuring for Blood Bowl with a new team. On the Warhammer Age of Sigmar side of things, I would guess the bones either hint at Ossiarch Bonereapers or Ogors, both of which were teased back in 2025 as coming hot on the heels of the Maggotkin of Nurgle.
