I am a huge fan of the judicator, and your thoughts on using it with eFeora is a great plan, would love to do that army if I ever started Menoth.

Nice review of the stuff. Would have been good to see a finished version of each model at the end for newer players (doesn’t have to be painted).
Think in that time if you had just shown 2-3 bits and just explained their roles on the table a bit more would have been good too.

The mountain king hence forth known as “badassubertrollwithmountainonback” yea all one word get used to it. It shall become a thing! Is by far and away the prettiest looking model on display there, but hey nothing new there the trolls always look great. Sorta similar to how orks always look good. P.S. Like the new format of showing more than 1 thing is pretty gud, but as a wee suggestion i think u guys should each get foam bats to belt eachother with once you’ve finished talking. Would be pretty sweet!

The Mountain King is impressive and the Bane Knights are classy, but the Judicator is my fav.

Ten, four-dice, reach attacks on a charge is pretty sexy from the Bane Knights.
I would love to get a hold of that Judacator. I already have a min choir, a vassal, and the harbinger. That would be a great way to kick off a new faction.

I’m a Menoth player, and I think the Judicator is great, but I have to say the Mountain King is also a fantastic model.
Got to be the mountain king for me. Stunning model.
As for the new format, I liked it. As newish presenters it will take a while for you to hit your stride but I like the longer format and multiple kits approach.
I collect Cygnar and Cryx … but I LOVE Mountain King miniature (not a good word for a gargantuan creature;-) ). One of the best sculpts from collosal / gargantuan range. The model alone makes me want to collect trollbloods. Bane Knights are simple brutal in combat and with proper caster and usual bag of tricks from Cryx can simply overrun anything in combat.
I have both cryx and trollbloods have bane knights the metal ones my trollbloods are at 50 pts not including warlocks that I change in and out.
cryx are at 150 pts. not including warcasters.
my skorne are the vanguard veterans of warmahordes- meaning I got them because they were fantastic models but to field them is a hard day at the hobby shop. Because they are weak and easily dealt with.
Wayland hooked me up with a few hard to find pieces but not to drift to far I would go with mountain king because I play trollbloods because they are just fun to play. My tourney faction is of course cryx.
definately liking the judicator, but the mountain king could get me trying hordes

Great to see some new Unboxings! The Judicator is awesome and I would love to put him in my Menoth army, but I have to agree the Mountain King Model is a little bit better. IMO.

I would go for the Judicator just for the look of annoyance on my friends face when his warcaster has died to continuous fire again but this time from a GIANT MACHINE OF DEATH!

When I play my cryx I always take a full unit of bane knights, they just need a UA of some sort.

Great Video, I love the look of all the models. Part of why I picked up Warmachine. Must say though I am very torn between the Mountain King or the Judicator. Both are great sclupts and the extra little bit of detail on both is just top notch. My only concern at all with the Judicator is it look like there was a good bit of extra flash/what not on it, but after putting together two Stormwalls I was not too shocked. Though part of the fun in this hobby is doing all the cleaning and just thinking what would be the best way to pose the model. Again great video and thank you for taking the time to review as it were the models.

The Judicator is IMO the best designed colossal. I would love one for my Menoth (actually my friends Mentoh, but we both play it). I can’t wait for the Mammoth gargantuan for Skorne it looks sweet!

I just got back into Wargaming and I’m looking to update my MK1 Menoth army for the MK2 rule set. The Judicator would be a perfect start.

First i would sing a song so sweet, tht the heavens would cry, all war would stop and sickness would pack up and leave
I would then dance a dance so true that all goverments would hand over the power of the world to me, and poverty would be a thing of the past
I would tell a poem so rich of truths and love that the people of the world would know I serve them and will work tirelessly to ensure a happy life for one and all,
THEN i would crush them all with my MENOTH JUDICATOR, the world would feel the wrath of the one true god, all would wear light purple almost mauve and off white and they would live life in fear of upsetting the one true god, and Cygnar HAHA don’t get me started on them!!!
also I would use it to beat my wife’s Khador army 🙂
Mountain King is my pick of the bunch, very characterful not so mini .
Would love to try a game with a colossal. Also a big fan of cavalry units. Especially the legion of everblight raptors, such cool models.
Judicator + epic Feora + Choir + Vassil of menoth for that extra attack. Maybe sit a crusader in front of it in an attempt to stop the enemy charging it. Hand out the pain but if it falls then the battle is over. 🙁

And everything menoth is by defenition not worthy of comment. 🙂
But besides hating the mountain king I do love the model. It’s got everything I expect from a gargantuan: It’s big, looks fearsome and is nearly unkillable I’ve learned the hard way 🙁

Perhaps a manicure or 2 is needed for the Shopping Channel moments?! Gav would suit a nice shade of red polish for the finished effect…
Agreed with another comment on here though, a completed model would be nice to see, unpainted would be better to see how the parts interconnect (especially the metal/resin hybrid kit Judicator. It would also allow you to discuss if parts should be pinned, or epoxy/superglue or whatever for stability and strength of the finished product to survive regular gaming.
A finished model allows the “heres one we made earlier” ala Blue Peter to finish the video off perfectly.

Menoth is best pronounces as May-not. as you may not do anything except burn heretics.

Really loving the look of the Bane Knights – may have to Destroy my wallet this week and pick them up….
I remember that when I first saw a Judicator artwork from PP, my first thought was: “My army will have the ugliest collossall of all..”. Now my opinion on this one turned 180 degrees, I just love it. Especially, the shield arms, just great.
And in battle. Of course eFeora with her bond(as long as a warcaster can bond a collossal, I’m not so sure about it). But I would definitely try Judy with Reznik. Iron agression with all these focus points, could be really interesting.
My vote is for the judicato. Beautiful sculpt and a great addition to the armies of Menoth.

As a Hordes player I have to side with the Trollkin Mountain King.
Though Choice. I still think the mountain king is one of the best colossals PP made. But that Judicator is really starting to grow on me. Onto the point where I start contemplating starting Menoth just to have an excuse to paint one.

I like the format of multiple models in these unboxing vids, there are a ton of figures and games out there, I would imagine this type of format will allow more items to be viewed. That being said though I did like how previously the bits and sprues were shown and then an assembled example (unpainted) followed but that would probably slow down production so I would imagine This was the happy medium that was decided on.

I really think Privateer Press hit a good balance point with the colossals. The big guys are never really game-breaking (unless you really devote some serious points into them) yet are a constant threat that your opponent has to deal with if we wants to survive.
As a cryx player I rather love my bane thralls, but I would love to give bane knights a try. Especially because there isn’t a whole lot of shooty spam players where I play
My cryx army is also hated among my gaming friends 😀 guess the ghost walking nightmare coming right up to your warcasters face ain’t fun.
All the Gargantuans/Colossals are just super awesome and deserve all the attention they get on and off the battlefield.
And the Cryx Bane Knights, yeah, they really mess stuff up 😀

Hi guys first posting here, i came over from the YouTubes to enter the comp. I think i should win the Mountain King (even though I play Menoth) because when the MK was pre-release it was literally the only 2 words my little brother could say. That is how much he loved the MK model. I had to put up with ‘Mountain King this and Mountain King that” for months. If I had my own Mountain King I could build him and paint him and cast him up to my little brother at every opportunity. “have you seen the Mountain King I won from Beast of War, isn’t he awesome” is what I would say.
On a non-Mountain King related note, I like the format of 3 guys giving their opinions (even if none-of you were Darrell) however lets have actual opinions about the quality of the model, the instructions, the box art work and such like and not ‘heheheh, he’s got a butt plate”.

also great vid guys loved your comments on the armies you use and the 4th unit was a treat love the cavalry PP release just can’t afford the price for how often they’d be used. Only thing id say would be maybe broach the tactical depths a little more? its always handy to have an idea of some tricks to pull with your new unit or beastie/giant machine of fiery death while you learn the ropes
Of the three boxeo I think I Like e mountain king moré than the rest… I have a menoth army but three are so many good unit in menoth that can deal with a colossal that I would rather expend the points in small units.

Judicator seems to be pretty powerful as far as colossals go (after the Stormwall and Galleon of course. They’re just nuts.)
Mountain King is probably the nicest model (can;t really call it a miniature) that PP have put out… ever. Shame his stats don’t shape up as well as they should.
And Bane Knights… not much to be said really. As a Khador player who regularly faces Cryx… I hate those guys.

The Mountain King is the most B-E-A-UTIFUL I have ever seen, and if I could I would easily paint one and show EVERYONE that entered my room 😀 Gorgeous Model.
The Judicator, doesn’t do much for me but with a sweet paint job I will still show it to everyone (if they couldn’t miss it anyway)
I like the Bane knights, but game play wise, they are such a go to for EVERY Cryx army practically it’s rather annoying, it just seems if you don’t have those you can’t win.
And that argument follows the Colossals and Gargantuans, don’t have them? Can’t win. At least that is what I’m being told by everyone else, I paused Warmachine/Hordes to go to Malifaux and haven’t looked back since, but as a collector aspect… I want those models, especially the Mountain King.

The Mountain King’s the coolest model (the coolest of all the collosals/gargantuans). The Judicator’s the model I’d least like to see across the table (I’d like it the least of … etc. and so on).
The Menoth Judicator is superb! That is my choice.
The Mountain King is an awesome model, but the Judicator is more my style. Although I wouldn’t mind either of them on my display shelf.

Aesthetically you’ve got to love the Mountain King. That is a fantastic piece of work and would make a great central piece.
But my favourite part of the video has got to be guys who thought up the lance cannon. It’s up there with gunblade for sheer awesomeness

One thing i’d like to see return is the “completed” version with any comments on assembling
I agree with some of the other comments, it would be nice to see the models built (not necessarily the full unit of Bane Knights) just to get an idea of things like scale and a little commentary on how easy they were to put together.
Otherwise, it’s great to see some more new faces and I liked how you did a bunch of unboxings together with a couple of different point of views of the models use in the game. I look forward to more!

Good vid, like the Judicator, but that Mountain King is by far the prettiest ‘mini’ (I use the term loosely), think I’d paint him up in a cold, snow-capped, ice and frost colour scheme, perhaps with a whelp skiing down his back somewhere 😉
The Menoth Judicator just looks amazing. Its my favorite colossal jack, and I could burn many of the faithless with one. On a side note I would agree with the others, I would love to see these guys assembled and some talk on the fiddly bits of construction.

I would have loved to see the models built, but I know what a huge project assembling a colossal can be so the crew is forgiven for that.
It would be a delight to see a comparison and discussion video of all six built colossals after the galleon is released. -Then another for the four gargantuans after the archangel and mammoth are released.
The Judicator looks awesome but the sculpt on the Mountain King has such a great table presence.
I’m a big fan of Judy, beautifully sculpted. May not seem great on paper, but with menoth support he is quiet a bit better than you would think

I’m very excited about the Menoth Judicator. I been wanting it since its release and now even more after viewing this video. It will be an awesome center piece for my Menoth army. I would definitely use either Epic Feora or the Harbringer with it.
The Mountin king looks a superior model – the jugganought appears to be large plain slab’s of metal. the bane knights may be nice , but couldn’t be seen very well and not the same tipe of collosal miniature.

Torn between the Mountain King and the Judicator. Both would go very nicely into my forces. Don’t really like the Cryx infantry models though, their ‘jacks are nice but that’s about all I like in that range.
Well that was pretty good. I vote Judicator. I have one but i feel a second one ought to be in my future really. What better way to kill 2 cygnar colossals than with 2 menoth ones?
Absolutely love these videos – a lot of useful suggestions already here. I would add that as a player with a relatively small meta, I always welcome other players thoughts about what synergizes well with other units and would encourage you to keep that path of discussion up.

When I saw the concept art for the Judicator I was worried. But this model is beautiful. I like the exhaust pipes having a look reminiscent of angel wings. Not super excited to see the metal in the kit, but I can deal.

I’ve been looking at Warmachine lately. I normally only play 40k and Fantasy but a lot of my friends have slowly been getting into Warmachine (currently 4 people in my gaming group are trying to start a league) something like that would really be some inspiration to get my feet going instead of starting my probably 11th gamesworkshop force.

Just started watching you guys from Geek & Sundry, I love your show! I really want to win the Judicator, aesthetically the best looking colossal IMHO, i would love to have the chance to paint one up!

The Judicator is magnificent. I cant help but imagine using it for epic 40k!!
The Colossal models could fit into a few other systems and add some serious presence in any scale. love it.
the judicator model look awesome , I love the fact that it has rocket pods but are they good since they are not accurate

Shiny minis, though I play Khador myself. If I won I would give them to my buddy. He loves lighting Heretics on fire in the name of Menoth, And honestly I do enjoy watching him do so…

That Mountain King looks beast, I have seen several of them painted up to fantastic levels and they really draw your eye when they dominate the troll side of the board. Great job guys, nice to see new faces.

Naturally as a Menoth player I’d choose the Judicator, but also because you just can’t go wrong with Colossals, no what which army they may belong to. Really enjoyed your video.
