Are there currently, or are there any plans to make, cards with the model’s stats on? I’m just a little concerned that I’ll be referencing the rulebook a lot.
I’m hoping that the Backstage demo game will answer that if no-one else does…

The content of the box look really good with a lot of stuff.

I would have preferred a “mousepad-like” mat instead of a paper one, but it still looks very interesting.

I love that they’re doing 3D markers (available separately) so you can replace the cardboard ones if you want. Who doesn’t want a base of flaming cows?

Gee, my brother and his family live outside Greenville, South Carolina. I’ll have to paint that Zeke character up to look like him, particularly since he has a large collection of sporting firearms as well.
Im not sure if I’m sold just yet. I don’t like the paper mat. Miniatures look pretty cool though and would love to try and paint them. Thanks Warren for unboxing this to show alittle more detail about Mars Attacks.

The Minis look great, the clear helmets on the Martians are what sold me on these.

I said at the time of the Kickstarter that getting the Martian helmets spot on was crucial to the game’s success. I reckon Mantic have done this to perfection.

Nice box. The artwork is pretty cool. But the colored plastic of the minis do hide the details more than the standard grayish plastic. So one should definitely paint the minis.
Ordered Alien abduction pledge so soon will recibe about 180+ miniatures, mohahaah, i have near 4-5 months of hobby solved, painting, playing…

Good Godz I have been waiting for a game like this since I was a little kid and I stumbled upon the trading cards at a garage sale! I’m glad it is from the cards and not the movie! The Martians are tall and scary not cute and goofy!

Cool game, only wish they had cast the heroes in a more neutral plastic color to make painting easier. Bright red may be rough.
