John goes through the processes of doing a Death Company Marine for the Blood Angels.
Thank you so much for a painting tutorial that says “Yes, you can paint straight from the pot, if you’re not trying to win competitions”.
I don’t have time to add seven layers of blending and highlighting to everything, so it’s nice to see someone say, freely, “Look, if you just want to get an army on the table in something but bare metal / primer, just paint from the pot”.
Bow, The vids are great but delivery on the site is lacking, what you should do with tutorials, You should have a rough outline comment below the video like the paints that were use and where to find them online if its applicable as well as techniques covered, not only me but many others are using your videos as a reference and it can be painful looking through a 1 hour long video for something, and well Youtube doesn’t have a great player, it has some minor defects so looking for things in a video can be painful
i love 40k becaues of the art
if you have done a painting tutorial for space marines black templars plz link it for me cant find one
if you have not done one plz plz do one
hi i need some help with painting blood angels .tryed the videos on Painting: Blood Angels Assault Sgt | Seven Days of Sanguinius but not working cheers
can anyone tell me, what the name of the soundtrack at the beginning is?
Nice work for a quick fix for an army, would never paint out of a pot though
Also, It seems as though you are really hunched over whilst painting, is this due to having to paint in front of a camera? My painting desk is a kitchen unit which helps elevate my work, thus allowing me to keep my back straight and reducing fatigue. I have a bad back, so I tend to notice all these types of things. I didn’t before my accident and it never occurred to me that I was sitting wrong.
please don’t think I am having a go though as I liked what you did, I am just a little sensitive about my back.
Fantastic painting guide, really inspiring.
