We've had our discussions but now the week really boils down to it, we want the battles! Join Killian and Carlos as they go head to head in this Beyond Red Veil Infinity grudge match, in this game the guys are playing Nomads vs PanOceania
Who will rise to the top, can Killian hold himself under Carlos' confidence or will Carlos crumble under the pressure?

Carlos perplexed is always fun. 😀
I really like Carlos playing Nomads. Especially since he is so much into the horrible State Empire (from a humanist point of view).
Also, the tough as nails and shadowy for a good cause elements of our space faring free thinkers I do like.
Now, why do they reveal to the opponent who is behind which Camo marker? Wouldn’t have made much of a difference as the first actions reveald the Intruder anyway and they know each other’s models. But still…
It is as you say, you normally wouldn’t say what the camo marker was before it revealed itself, but they both knew each other’s lists anyway, as did we.
That said, I don’t think the Swiss Guard took a guts check when he suffered a wound.
Anyway, I need this expansion box; I bought the Icestorm boxset and thus have both a PanO force and a Nomad force, and I neeeeeds that new Nomad unit at the very least.

I love watching carlos play, it always gets me when his mood sours when something goes wrong and then he gets cocky when something goes well!
Good game, fun to watch. Sad to see Nomads take the loss here. I was hoping for more of a showing from the Kriza Boracs, but may be in another game.

Really nice game. Not all of the models can show their talents in every game that is just the nature of rolling dice. Nice to see that the showing from the Beyond Icestorm miniatures. Really wanting the next starter set to be Combined vs ALEPH, just a hopeful dream at the moment. Loving the new Expansion boxes.

Yeah … in love with nomads from “beyond ice storm”.
This seems like a good expansion set a few more rules than standard ice storm yet now overwhelming.

There are so many ways to play this. I am developing a “Kidnap the Empreror” scenario: Yu Jing fighting vs Pano’, Nomads and Haqq’ joint attack.

This was fun to watch!
I think Carlos can claim the moral victory against the nearly-cheating shenanigans of Killian. Claiming and HMG also has a shotgun? First measuring range and then choosing the optimal weapon to shoot with? I don’t think O-12 would approve of those kind of actions.
I’m anxiously awaiting the moment CB reveals the Bostria mercenary miniature, with it’s special skill of Smacktalk. 😉

After reading and now watching a battlereport i get into the rules…mechanics would cost me more time…
I really wish someone had gotten in there with a handheld camera or they used a higher zoom for the overhead shots or something, because I found it somewhat difficult to follow the game. Meh. It was still nice to see or, well, hear what the new units brought to the table.

I always enjoy watching Carlos match up against Killian…..invariably Killian is going to role a lot of bad dice results in the be beginning and Carlos always comments on this with some superb humor. Overall Carlos is just so entertaining with his subtle humor, great entertainment and the new units are so impressive in both army’s.
Well done Killian, it’s not often we see you winning these games with such a lot of dice roles that didn’t succeed. Really was a great game to watch.
Seeing all those beautifully painted minis in play really sold it for me.
I’ve been waiting for Corvus Belle to setup some boxes like this.
When I’m in the Infinity Groove I always que up a video battle with Carlos in it. You can tell he’s really having fun in the games we’ve watched him play! He’s kinda like everyone’s happy go lucky friend that everyone enjoys playing with, cause he’s more focused on having fun and a good time instead of trying too hard to win the game.
I love it when we get to see Killian playing. Even if it *is* Pan-O. 🙂

How do you print out your lists neatly like you have for your armies? The Army 6 page doesn’t seem to want to print out lists like they did in the nice PDF style from before. I’m sure this is just user error on my part, but don’t want to work from a tablet or a mobile to play. Just prefer paper as I’m a low level technophobe / sausage-fingered clumsy smart screen swiper.

Really enjoyed watching this matchup. Killian played a blinder with the fusilier and deserved the win! This game had some memorable moments and showed how cinematic infinity can be.

Gonna have to re-watch it again, i`m sure i missed some part`s.
Great game guy`s, really enjoyed watching Killian and Carlos go at it. I think the reason Killian won is, he did something that nobody expected. He attacked with a troop that would not normally attack, let alone take on another troop stronger then it is.
So i take it we`ll see Killian doing this a lot more in future game`s, go get them Killian and make “Panoceania” proud.

Lol, I was expecting to see Killian rolling in victory in the famous car-park. Plus it was great to see that they used a standard mission as a demonstration.
