We stop in with Colin from Battle Systems to learn about what’s coming up for them in the near future.

These guys have been doing some great stuff with Core Space over the last few months, developing the game and introducing it to more people, giving folks a chance to delve into this storytelling Sci-Fi game.

A dedicated Infinity club near me has their sci-fi range and it is petty good system for putting down and then putting away a big structure quickly.
Really am sold on Battle Systems lately.

Core Space almost got me back into Kickstarters. Watched the Let’s Plays when the campaign was live and it looked great before any tweaks they’ve done since. Still pull out my Sci-fi 1 terrain for Infinity and other skirmish games (Afterlife)

They have some great products. I would like to see more core space skirmishes, I really liked them in the past.

Had my first Battle Systems experience today. I put together the Red Rocket for Fallout. It’s amazing how effective it is once it’s all together. You really don’t notice the clips and joins etc. Really well designed.

Wow, those sound like very generous deals they’re giving away.
I’ve mentioned before that I’m not all that enamoured with flatpack terrain like this as it lacks something compared to 3D terrain for me, but BS does look high quality and one of the better (if not best) flatpacks out there; if I won this I’d probably donate it to my local club as it’s always nice to have more terrain in the cupboard and being flatpack means it won’t take up as much of the limited storage space that we have at the venue we rent.
Really looking forward to receiving Core Space when the Kickstarter delivers. I am hoping it is the game that I get my wife to play as she was a big fan of Firefly

the dungeon stuff doesc look nice, prefer it to the sci fi.
Have one if there sifi packs. Buildings a great, but the scater terrain is my favorite. Makes a table top come to life.
Best prize of the weekend, and that’s saying a lot with all the other great ones this weekend. Would love to add it to my gaming groups collection.

Battle systems looks so good! This models, terrain, game! I’m gutted I have no real groups nearby to suggest we split cost and try it out!! Just me and parent of 3 girls.. no money, mo problems!! :-). I’m gutted I missed the Kickstarter even just to have it look awesome in my cabinet of geek display!! (The only non pink part of my house!)
I like the idea of their stuff, especially if it is quick to build and strip down without it getting damaged. Storage space is a major issue with terrain.

More gorgeous terrain and rules to battle it out over it. Love the spaceship interiors. The whole scifi “dungeon” thing has had me hooked since Space Hulk.

Dungeons are brilliant and very versatile for playing so many different games on. Really looking forwards to getting my copy of Core Space and playing on it.
Was backing too many games at the time so I missed out on Core Space, hope it makes it to retail.

the Berlin Brettspiel Convention next July.

Wouldn’t it be GRAND to have a Space Crusade remake using Battle Systems tile system? The Sci-Fi terrain reminds me of the old MB Game with it’s cardboard wall dividers! I still haven;t built my Urban terrain, the box it came in is actually holding up my monitor to eye-level as we speak!

This looks very promising. What is the playtime of an average game? Maybe I missed that with my kids jumping around me? I’m drawn to games that don’t take too much of time at least until the kids are a bit bigger.
Glad I backed core space and can’t wait for it to arrive, the modular and space saving of these kits, plus the detail in them makes them perfect for gamers.

I’m disappointed I didn’t back their Core Space KS, guess I’ll just wait until it gets to retail. The terrain sets look awesome for pieces you can assemble and take apart.
