I have had the 2 big rulebooks for over a year?! I think there might be 5 Infinity players scattered over the northern Rocky Mountains, but this could be an excellent way to introduce grandsons to scifi skirmish!
The largest Infinity tournament in the world is held in Albuquerque, NM so not far from you. Look for the Rumble on Route 66 and we’ll see you there.
Im with you Dragonbreath great game to get the grandkids into. I would drop in for a game but Toronto Canada is a bit of a trip.
It does look really good, have to watch the other videos since I need to catch up after my vacation.
Looking at the picture… one thing that annoys me… there is a hex grid…. and round bases…. that’s illegal! I’m sure!
177 years into the future hex is new circle. Bases are just homage to good ol’ times of XXI century.

Novelty Dice and Round Bases on Hex grid…my OCD will not be happy. But the miniatures look absolutely amazing.

Corvus Belli is great about releasing product on a regular basis. Their main game gets new models every month and their most resent game, Aristeia, gets updates quarterly

Always found Infinity to be a bit rules dense (and turns overly complicated), perhaps this might be the gateway into infinity (and those nice minis) for those that are a bit “memory challenged” 😀
If my family doesn’t want to play the game with me perhaps I could find someone in this desert to play with!

I’m very excited about this! I jumped in immediately. It is always good to see more ties into the Infinity universe and bring more people to the hobby.
I saw the word Defiance first and thought about that older TV show of the same name and how this might have been a redo of it in a board game. Then I saw Infinity. Business must be good for them.
The tiles have a fantastic art style
I’m so happy that games suitable for just 1 player are becoming a bigger thing.
It will be fun to have have another dungeon crawler to sit alongside Core Space and Star Saga. The Infinity background and IP will make this one quite fun
So looking fowerd for this i so hope i can do the max pledge for it as i think this is the way in for me and my frinds as we have alway’s wanted to but rule wise it always looked a bit too intense so this looks way easyere for us pus we are playing allot of blackstone fortress at the moment so we are defo looking to get into other games that are similer and this defo looks very much like that but with the infinity twist to it and the universe has alway’s inrested me and the models are amazing and i like the look and sculpts the come out with there always eye catching so can’t wait plus it may spark me to play tyhe full game but also there are a few model’s ive been thinking of picking up just to paint and do a diorama with from the red vail box set so hope we can use those model’s with this gam as well 🙂
All in day 1. Just looking at this is rekindling my love of Aristeia. I see this getting my friends interested in the universe, so that we can finally plunge into N3.

I’ve been playing a bit of Shadows Over Brimstone lately, so I’m getting a taste for non-dungeon dungeon crawlers. This looks a belter!

I have played a demo game on a convention, the game is awesome, but it will be more awesome if all characters were Nomads!

never played infinity, but this looks like a great place to start.
Had a look at the kickstarter. Looks great. The deluxe pledge with the terrain would be my pick. Would be great for the Infinity RPG as well.
I love this idea, and the fact that it’s Infinity just makes all that much more excellent.
Nice concept, but what a pitty to see it are still metal models. I cant work with it. Clueing is hell. Painting is crappy. Why not resin??
To bring the quality of the sculpt over to the production and give it a durability and heft for the tabletop metal is the best option. Resin is great but can break easily and is just to light for the amount of handling these will get in game. CB metal just can’t be beat.
I Do love the mini’s played infinity a couple of times. but i don’t have the time to really geet to grips with the tactics. so looking forward to get to play with and not against my friends 🙂
Oh! So this is what I’ve backed to the hilt without any research. Must watch more videos (and comment on each – can’t think why?)

Assembly needed. The newer CB models are really good to work with. Clean joins, obvious assembly (for most) and very little mold release (I still wash all my models, plastic, metal, and resin). the quality of CB metal can not be matched
I had one mini as part of the infinity rpg ks and it was a nightmare to assemble…
Metal is rubbish to work with… i’m surprised they’re still using it.

These miniatures look fantastic. Each stretch goal gets me more excited. I hope the AI is not too intense for my phone.
I am not up on my Aristeia knowledge, is that where these dice come from (or some form of them)? Just finished up Imperial Assault so this could be one to watch.
Yes the dice system is from Aristeia and uses the sam dice and rules.
I like use of the dice system,its easy to follow and all the guys seem to have picked it up straight away.
Minis look incredible so as someone paints more than plays it seems like a no brainier Kickstarter to me.
Game is awesome but finding a community for it is thought. Lot of the shops I frequent don’t have much of an offering, but I think it will change
I am definitely joining this kickstarter campaign. The game looks fun as hell and having extra miniatures for the regular skirmish game makes this too good a deal for me to pass up. Think I will go check it now in fact.

Story is interesting. Wonder how large this will play into future plots. Nice to see tile art by Keith Lowe. His art style on MERCS was always a high point for that range.

I think the only answer to the “What Is Defiance?” question that does the game justice is “Pure Awesomeness”.
Like Warren, I too am a huge fan of the dungeon crawler and also being a fan of Infinity, this looks a perfect match for me. Ad the co-op aspect of it is perfect. Now just need to find the spare cash 😉

I’ve avoided getting into Infinity so far (I can’t afford more metal crack), but this is weakening my resolve. Hell, what am I saying? I’m going to get it. Who needs to pay for my kid’s education?
