TG: Age of Legends - Chapter Four

Thebalt knew he had to travel far to the East and report what he had learned to King Arthur, who’s seat of power was at Tintagel.

The journey was very difficult. Along the way Thebalt had several fights that left him badly injured, inhibiting his ability to travel effectively.

Eventually, Thebalt reached the outskirts of Thebalt where a robed stranger insisted on blindfolding him and taking him to a secret meeting. There, Thebalt was asked to spy on the King. Thebalt initially refused, so they gave him a pendant which they said would allow their agents to recognise him again in the future. Thebalt was a Knight, and so had no intention of ever betraying his oaths to the King. As soon as he had left their company, Thebalt discarded the pendant.

Thebalt then reported directly to King Arthur. The King was grateful for Thebalt’s findings, and having shown great resilience in surviving the battles and travelling across the island, the King tasked Thebalt with one of four possible quests. Thebalt chose to help with the problems Arthur was having with building his new Camelot – thinking it would relate to military architecture. Further details revealed it was a more clandestine investigation of sabotage that would be required, but by that point it was too late for Thebalt to back out.
