First up are the simplest models I did, since they are… well they’re not really conversion or kitbashes really, they’re just straight out of the box models from the WW2 British Expeditionary Force kit and the WW1 German Infantry (1916 – 1918) kit, both from Wargames Atlantic, which I used to create one of the simplest forces of the far right in the world of VBCW, and then also one of the (I personally think) the strangest.

So I tried to keep these models as close to the pictures given in the sourcebook Royalists and Reactionaries (1) as I could get. Though I have to admit, I’m not really going to go all out and sculpt Pattern ’37 webbing onto a WW2 Italian army model.

Admittedly yes, this is not really a conversion work, since the models are straight out of the box but doing the simple models does give me a good base to work with on what I can do with later models around the same ideas. Though, granted, any BUF legionnaries will really be regular BEF or WW1 British Infantry models with the side cap head or just brody helmets.

It is in the Lord Cirencester’s Alarm Company that I feel I can have more fun kitbashing wise since, while the first model is a out of the box model of a body with stahlhelm and MP-28, combining the WW1 German bodies and torsos with more ‘modern’ (for the late 1930s) British kits, like SMLEs, Lewis guns, BREN guns and Thompson submachine guns will help create something more interesting.

Plus, I have a lot more ideas on using stahlhelm’s too, but more on that later.
