I custom-made the decal myself by converting the real-world Bugman’s Trollbrew beer logo (from Warhammer World) into a hand-painted style Old World advertising poster. With the help of ChatGPT, I turned it into a clean decal design, exported it into ODR format, and had it printed onto waterslide paper.

I’ll be honest—I’ve never really been big on painting characters. For me, the effort-to-reward ratio just hasn’t felt worth it. I often find that no matter how much time I spend on a character model, it doesn’t end up looking much better than a well-painted rank-and-file unit. And that can be a bit disheartening.
That said, I’ve been trying to push myself this year. Whether it’s getting cleaner blends, adding a bit more contrast, or just focusing on one miniature at a time, I’m giving character painting another go. Josef Bugman was part of that push—and while I still see room to grow, I’m happy I took the time.
