Ork Craboid Troopers
More Oldhammer style Orks sculpted by Kev Adams and produced by Meridian Miniatures, this time Ork Craboids. These five are the set of ‘troopers’, and are the least mutated/hybridised models.
Genestealer Ork hybrids were one of the oddities from back in the day that were captured in the Freebooterz lists, and it is great to have some lovely chunky metal sculpts of these chaps.
I had a bit of fun trying to work out skin patterning/colouration, trying to retain the greenskin but starting to lean into more blue/purple shades as highlights. I think it just about works.
