Boarding Actions!
With the Terminators completed, I got a couple of games in but, because I’m an idot, only took photos of one of them. I’ve fought Orks and Space Marines. I’ve fought Necrons! I have lost all the games. This is due to forgetting stuff like Terminators getting sticky objectives and finding that combi weapons are frickin’ garbage. Adding another weapon really screws up the aim of transhuman warriors who have existed for 10,000 years…
Also, Brett’s Orks making me wound them on a 5+ with friggin’ POWER FISTS!
Ahem. Enjoyed playing on the painted board. Annoyingly, I like the blue version I painted for Pete more than my green set. Ah well. Guess I’ll have to get the third set painted at some point, right?
In any event, I enjoyed the games. The Terminators are pretty lethal when you switch the combi weapons for combi bolters. Again the Necrons, I had a moment of utter triumph turn to ash. I killed the hell outta the 3 Skorpech Destroyers to a loss of a single terminator. 1 was blown away as they tried to get through the door and the other 2 were torn apart in close combat. John then rolled to get all bloody 3 back! Oof.
