TTCombat are now taking pre-orders for their brand new full-colour MDF terrain for use in your Sci-Fi wargames around the 28mm to 32mm scale. The new Chroma range is now available for you to scoop up in various forms so you can make your battlefields shine.

FOB Ignis Chroma Terrain - TTCombat

F.O.B Ignis Chroma Terrain // TTCombat

All of the terrain from the Chroma range comes as colour-printed MDF scenery that has been designed to be hard-wearing but also looks good at the same time. Each piece is interesting in that whichever way you view the piece of terrain, you will see some painted or coloured edge. You should effectively see no standard MDF when you're putting your terrain together.

There are a variety of different options for you to choose from when you're picking up your Chroma terrain. A lot of the terrain has been designed to evoke the feel of classic Warhammer 40,000 from back in the 80s and 90s. You've got lots of bright colours but also classic schemes which evoke the kitbashed terrain of the period.

It should be noted that if you are going to be picking up this terrain, it's not for the faint of heart. After watching a review by Midwinter Minis, the terrain looks great but it takes a long time to build, mainly because TTCombat has tried to craft this so you don't see that exposed MDF.

It does look excellent when the terrain is done and it's particularly cheap and cheerful, especially for full-colour MDF terrain. It should make all of those dreary Warhammer 40,000 battlefields look much better than those standard L-shaped ruins.

There are lots of different options for you to choose from when it comes to terrain. In addition to the larger bundles you've seen above, you can also get your hands on lots of incidental pieces, which would be great for scenario play and adding "colour" and narrative to your tabletops.

Even the standard Gothic Ruins (below) look great and should be a solid, hard-wearing set of terrain for you to set up and use in your Warhammer 40,000 wargames and beyond.

I do think this is a great idea and it's good to see more terrain companies producing full-colour pieces for you to make tabletops look good quickly. It will be interesting to see where TTCombat goes next with the product and what they decide to add to the mix. The Sci-Fi range is going to be very useful for the likes of Warhammer 40,000 but also Necromunda and pretty much anything else you have in your collection.

Has this range of Chroma Terrain tempted you?
