Black Orc skin
First the test for the black orc skin. Again I don’t want anything too complex, so decided on just two colours, Incubi darkness and skarsnik green.
i layered a couple layers of incubi darkness, then mixed about 60% incubi with the skarsnik, and then painted it over leaving the darker tone in the recesses. Normally I would have done this a few more times with more skarsnik added to the mix but decided for brevity to just do a highlight of pure skarsnik.
Which turned out good enough but was more starker than intended so I added a very thinned down wash of skarsnik to make it blend more.
My photos are not getting any better but I am happy with the result of the paint job.
I will, when painting the other orcs, make sure the flesh is painted first.
