They made it onto the table
With the Saxons completed the forces made it onto the table for a game of Midgard playing the “Take the High Ground” scenario from the rule. This was a largish game with ~460pts a side with multiple players. The British were holding the hill and one of their commands were off the table. The Saxons had to push them off the and capture the 3 objective markers on the hill to gain reputation.
The game ended as a major victory for the British partially because the Saxons commanders decided to keep both their heroes and best units in the second rank to “protect” them(they didn’t grasp the meaning of the rules from the full title 😂). The British however used their best troops and heroes correctly leading the charge and creating mayhem.
thats so beautiful man, both armies look fantastic, and even the terrain blends in well together with the bases.
