Infinity terrain: updating cardboard buildings (Mototronica pack)

The humble yet very usable Infinity cardboard terrain, from the long lost year of 2014!I’ve had this cardboard buildings for so long, I grow bored of them. Not bored of their looks (so cool still) but of their “cardboardiness” So is time for an update. A laser cut update!
The idea for this project is really simple, remake the old cardboard into laser cut DMF or similar wood, adding extra thickness to the model and some 3D detail depth.
I have an 40k Laser Cut machine that will serve me just right. Could I just 3D model and printed something instead? Maybe witha PLA machine, yes. But Laser cut wood is so cheap, and I love the wooden feel of the terrain.
Adding a bit of depth to existing cardboard terrain is a great upgrade.
Doing that with laser cut wood is even better.
I do want to know which laser cutter you are using.
Did you get it for this hobby or do you have other uses for it?
Is a chinese model, 40w very basic one (the blue case one you would see online). My mother and I got it a few years back for her projects and mine. She’s been crushing it selling Reiki and Yoga related merch! And I’ve been using it for terrain mostly.
The machine is nice, but I’ve updated it quite a bit. Is veeeery basic, so it needs a bit of help to really shine. Great machine though.
