Heroes Of Ancient Myth & Legend Join Lucid Eye’s Collection
November 18, 2025 by brennon
Lucid Eye has introduced a selection of new 28mm scale metal miniatures to their collection for those seeking new Fantasy heroes and villains.
Achilles // Lucid Eye
We start with mighty Achilles. Whilst there would be a temptation to include him in his clashes during the Trojan War, I think it would be fun to see what stories you could tell with Achilles before that, delving into some of the adventures that he might have had before that campaign. There is plenty for you to draw on!
He would also make a really good hero miniature for you to use in Warriors of Athena (second time this has been mentioned this week!), the upcoming game from Osprey and Joseph A. McCullough. Who better to be one of the shining examples of heroism during your campaigns?
Backing up Achilles, you also have the Myrmidons, his fearsome companions who fight by his side.
Myrmidons I // Lucid Eye
You get three of these warriors in the set, armed with swords and shields, charging into the heat of battle. They work quite nicely with the Amazons that Lucid Eye has created for the Ziggurat collection and so you could perhaps tell some combined story where Achilles has joined forces with an Amazon Warqueen.
Twisted Dungeon Delvers
As a little bonus aside, Lucid Eye has also introduced another figure to their Blades & Souls collection. Could this Fomorian be an interesting villain for you to use at the heart of a dungeon delving adventure?
Fomorians // Lucid Eye
There is just one of these Fomorians at the moment as part of this collection but you could use him as an iconic leader for a set of plastic miniatures you might already have in your collection. Maybe you could buck the trend and he could instead be a character that you play in your games rather than a villain.
New Jim FitzPatrick Miniature
Last but not least, Lucid Eye has introduced another miniature into the mix for their Jim FitzPatrick range. See what you think of Morrigan Na Badb!
Morrigan Na Badb // Lucid Eye
A gorgeous new miniature based on the beautiful artwork by Jim FitzPatrick, which itself draws influence from Irish myth and legend. I would pick up Morrigan just to paint. I liked all of the existing range from Lucid Eye and I've even painted one or two. They are lovely metal figures.
What are you going to be picking up from Lucid Eye?

I’m picking up some bits for Warriors of Athena and these will do very nicely. And you can never have too many Fomorians 🙂
