Celebrate Gotrek & Felix With Special Edition Trollslayer Set
December 2, 2025 by brennon
Remember the first entry in the Gotrek & Felix saga? Trollslayer is being celebrated by the folks at Black Library with a special collector's edition of the book, which is coming soon alongside a suite of extra goodies.
Trollslayer Special Edition // Black Library
The main event is, of course, Trollslayer itself, which is presented as a hardback edition with stylised artwork.

A ribbon within acts as a bookmark but you also get a Gotrek-themed axe-shaped bookmark which matches the design of the book cover.

The set also comes with some nice trinkets, including two coins mirroring the currency of the Empire and those of the Dwarf holds. You will also get a series of three art prints and some excellent beer mat-style coasters with unique designs that could be great for those lovers of the World-That-Was. You can use these to situate some nice beers, perhaps from Bugman's itself?

I don't normally like these special edition books but I think there's something special about Games Workshop and Black Library revisiting such a classic. I am a massive fan of Gotrek & Felix so I could see myself picking this one up for my shelf.
What do you think of this special, limited edition?

All the bots will get one, it will be on eBay 10 minutes later for a zillion dollars.
Literally NO ONE will get one of these. And GW doesn’t care, because they’ll sell out in about 2 minutes.
I hate clankas!!!
don’t forget the scalpers and the suckers who buy from them …
without them this wouldn’t be quite as effective at laundering money.
Ugh. Sadly, you’re not wrong. If companies would limit these to one per physical address, that might help, but they’d have to care first…
@bennythejew – care is just it. GW doesn’t mind all the independent shops selling for 15% off, but that’s for regular editions. These limited ones … just disappear.
This is a lovely thing. I’ve been rereading the series this year and falling back in love with the pair of them.
