Terrainfest!! I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere
If there's a bright centre to the universe, you're on the planet that it's farthest from
So I have made many attempts to start making a table for the land of sand and villainy.
I scratch built a few bits and got much of the TTCombat MDF terrain but none of it ever quite felt like it was ticking the box for me or was too much like hard work.
Eventually I got my 3D printer working and figured out the issue I was having for over a year that was interspersed with attempts to fix and correct that usually ended with a ‘Bollocks to this!’ and then come back again.
Once this glorious day occured I delved deep into the universe of ones and zeros and the poor 3D printer has been working harder that a victorian factory worker during the industrial revolution with only minimal time for breaks and a chance to see it’s family.
I kept printing till I basically knew I had loads of stuff to cover a good table and be able to mix things up.
The image above is maybe 2 thirds of the stuff I have printed.
I did some test priming with a rattle can and always had the intention to base most of it with ColorForge Desert Sand and then bring out the airbrush
