DRACONIS DOES….. TERRAINFEST 2025

The recent work has been on the bridge area. There are several seats, plus the raised pilot dais with its seat, controls and screens.
Since I was working in random short stints I forgot to get many pictures along the way.
For the raised area I painted some red markings at the top and picked out the edges of the steps. I also used the gundam marker again to panel line sections.
The seats had the padded areas painted black, then overpainted with a couple of shades of Foundry Rawhide. The panel at the feet area was left in black.
For the control area I picked out some panels, small screens and cabling in various colours to contrast to the white. The screens were painted black, then given a light drybrush of gunmetal.
For the screens I went online and searched out various images. I measured up the screen sizes and printed them off in various scales just to give a bit of leeway.
These were then cut out and glued on to the control screens.
I also decided to make some of the panels under the window into screens as well. These were painted black, then more screens were cut out and glued on. All the screens then had a gloss varnish.
Finished up by painting the lights at the front. These were painted in bold titanium white, followed by Vallejo Fluo yellow. They have come out quite bright 😊
Still lots to go, but definitely getting there.
