TTCombat Release Classic 28mm Sci-FI Chroma Terrain Range
January 30, 2026 by brennon
The Chroma Terrain range by TTCombat is now available at retail. The first 28mm collection they are introducing to their webstore this week is the Classic Sci-Fi range that should evoke plenty of nostalgia in the minds of Warhammer 40,000 fans.
F.O.B Ignis Classic // TTCombat
The first of the sets is the F.O.B Ignis Classic set, which is made using pre-coloured, hard-wearing MDF terrain. You simply need to stick all of the bits together and you are ready to play. No painting involved.
The F.O.B Ignis Classic set is a smaller one, which comes with entry doors for an underground facility, as well as some incidental scenario pieces and that larger central facility with the landing pad on the top. You could see this being a perfect base to try and hold out in against rampaging Space Orks.
You could also pick yourself up an impressive defensive structure with the Bastion Gateway Classic.

Similarly, this gives you another towering piece of defensive terrain that could take centre stage on your battlefield. You've got plenty of space for you to place your troops and it will really pop on the tabletop, especially with that lovely blue as the key colour.
All of the terrain from the Chroma range has been made using hard-wearing UV ink, which gives it a finish that should stand up to the rigours of gameplay. You'll also note that these terrain kits are very, very sturdy with multiple layers so that you can keep the colour on both sides.
If you're looking to spread out, you can also check out the Trench Network Classic.

This gives you some lower-lying defensive structures that could be mixed with some of the other bits and pieces from the Classic collection. I quite like the idea of this sitting at one end of the table, so you could craft a full-on defensive location for one army, creating an asymmetrical nature to the tabletop and your scenarios.
If you're seeking to fully pack out a tabletop, then you also have the Advancing Landing Ground Bundle.

This will easily fill a 4x4 board, and with a few additions, maybe a 6x4 board. It comes with kits for the...
- Bunker Classic
- Double Bunker Classic
- Bunker Platform Classic
- Platform Classic
- Ruined Gothic Walls Classic
- Landing Pad Classic
- F.O.B Ignis Classic
...and considering that it's only £160, that seems like a pretty solid set of terrain for someone seeking to have their first Sci-Fi set-up at home. You can just move the terrain around and you'll have plenty of different set-ups for Warhammer 40,000 and beyond.
Are you going to be picking up some of the Chroma terrain from TTCombat?

Heh, harkens back to the old days of 1998 Necromunda cardboard terrain 🙂
the memories are strong with this one
Nostalgia awakens…
Nice to see I’m not the only one to look at this and feel the nostalgia for the 1990’s 40K scenery. The Imperial Bastion and Firebase were my two absolute favourite pieces. As soon as I saw the pics on this thread that’s all I could think off.
That’s a blast from the past these buildings
Lovely and very good value as well IMO. I wish they would do some generic sci-fi for Infinity

A lovely set of retro terrain, an absolutely dreadful choice of blue.
Right in the nostaglia …
Now where did I put my Ratskins gang…..
