Antediluvian Miniatures previewed some more of their new figures that will be joining their Medieval range. These new 28mm scale figures come in metal and are sculpted by the talented hand of Matthew Bickley.
Wars of the Bruce's Infantry // Antediluvian Miniatures
The first two sets that we have feature new Medieval soldiers armed with a mix of melee weapons. You have the fellows above armed with axes, mallets and swords. They are characteristically posed as if they are in the heart of the action. They could well be sappers and such who have had to take up arms as the enemy strikes at your back line.
There is also a set of four Medieval soldiers who come armed with spears to hold off the enemy.

Again, they are posed in a great way to represent soldiers who are ranked up and poking and prodding the enemy. You also have a good mixture of different armour on show here, looking at the ragtag way that a lot of soldiers could cobble together all sorts, so they could stand a chance on the battlefield.
You also have some ranged options for the Wars of the Bruce's range. This first set comes with classic archers. I really like the poses once again, especially with the bundles of arrows strapped to their belts.

You also have four fellows armed with crossbows, ready to take down more heavily armoured targets. One fellow is taking aim, whilst you've also got another who has clearly heard some dumb order from his commanding officer.

All of these miniatures will be added to the mix alongside the rest of the Historical range by Antediluvian Miniatures. You can also keep an eye on more previews from Antediluvian over on their Facebook Page.
Will you be picking up these new Medieval miniatures?
