The mechs are really nice, but the base feels too small.

Thank you Ben for thinking my “mini” deserved a golden buttom. ^_^ This is an amazing iniciative from Beasts of War that helps not only to paint or do something worth noticing but also been able to see the incredible work of other uses of the site.

AoS armies really are beautiful. I love the way GW has moved towards “high” or “crazy” fantasy.

Mat 0 War was made in Ireland as a side project, it was a compressed material like underlay for a carpet and they stopped making it. Last time I needed some I phoned Antenocities and they still had the desert mats and I was able to get one even though they weren’t on the website. […]

Does anyone know where you can buy the Mat-o-War (or similar) material? I can’t find it on the Antinositis website. I know the BoW boys used something like it to make their bootcamp tables for Bolt Action and Team Yankee a couple of years ago but I cant track down the Vlogs of them making […]

Nice to see that there are some interest, even if we do not manage to get a “live” thing like Twitch going I can create a thread here on the forums to capture the progress during the day… a bit like a focused, one day, WAYPN-thread. Could be fun, and easy to set up. 🙂

I’d like to see a game designed with this mentality do well. A universal system thats actually good, that fans could write standard adaption lists for factions from other games could be reslly useful, even if the systems being poached might not be too happy.

Stolen from the FFG forums: “That Han Solo looks like he’s been eating Chewie’s portion” 😀
I really hope it’s just a bad paint job. The Imperial Assault Han is really nice, kind of dumb if FFG messes this up.
Love those Rebel Commandos though!

He talks like sticky tufts are a new thing. And like you want them to come off the base as easily as a post it.

Dreadball is one of my favourite ‘almost’ boardgames. I already have version 2 and played. While fouls have got ‘fruitier’, Im still a purist when it comes to tactics – Always go for the ball!

I love him, along with the Eclipsante models and…actually and a whole boat load of them, probably the reason I have 90 odd Wolfen from both factions. If they cast in resin like CMON did I have no issues, I’ve held a few of those and they’re excellent, lack the heft of a proper model […]

All this praise for mantic leaves me with a question. I’ve spent a lot of time recnelty working with models from the Deadzone kickstarter and the moulds are terribly. Mould lines everywhere, and the material does not like being worked with. Has the production quality actually improved? If I buy new Mantic like hellboy will […]

played my first games last week, love the improvements to fouling, the addition of the new stat as well opens up more possibilities without it getting too clunky.
I look forward to forcing a league on the club as soon as is possible 😀 -
