Be A Better Human With New HINT Kickstarter
June 13, 2017 by brennon
Human Interface is back on the tabletop from Post-Industrial Games and sees them exploring those cooperative and competitive Cyberpunk board game world once again with new characters and new objectives to face.
This expansion and standalone journey, Be A Better Human, for their Cyberpunk world allows you to play as enhanced individuals trying to break out of a secure facility with evidence of the wrongdoings of a massive corporation whilst the powers that be try and stop who they deem to be cybernetic psychopaths.
You will be playing with fantastic miniatures in 32mm scale like the ones you see in the render work below.
As well as the cooperative mode that we've talked about already where you battle against the game you can also get stuck into a versus mode with this edition of the game. Here you pick a team to take to the tabletop and play against others to try and achieve your objectives.
However, instead of the metal that was used in the last project, these new miniatures are going to be plastic! If you're familiar with the quality of miniatures from CMON games and Conan then you can expect that to be how these turn out.
In addition, a lot of work has gone into revamping the rules and making them more streamlined for a better tabletop experience. Rules can be download to try out for yourself HERE and HERE.
Stretch Goals
The game team has already found their project smashing through stretch goals which are unlocking new characters like the Prisoners here...
...and the Romper Stomper.
If you've ever wanted to get more Cyberpsychos into your role-playing games then even if you don't play HINT this could be a great way to get stuck in and pick up new models for your role-playing. The best right now however has to be this adorable new addition.
I still wouldn't mess with her when she has those big cybernetic arms attached to her. It's nice to see them adding more character and interesting twists into the narrative, taking it from the grimness of Blade Runner towards the more colourful styles we're used to seeing from Android for example.
What do you think of this campaign?

really like what they’ve done with it and the trailer is pretty epic.
firstly the sculpts look great and I love the fact they are offering metal as well as plastic. I know a lot of folks just play board games straight out the box and love a bit of PVC, but it’s great they give you the option of going with metal. the thing I loved about the old GW miniatures board games like space hulk, bloodbowl and advanced hero quest was you could go with the snap fit but which of us didn’t ether have or aspire to running the old metal terminators instead of the dodgy looking ones that came with the game, like I said proper projects lovingly brought to life and played to death. so well done for catering to both the old school and the new.
secondly, narrative dungeon crawl that has a player vs player mode. smart move in my opinion. someone is going to get this right at some stage and when they do it’s going to be epic.
overall it looks great and i’m a fan of the setting. the gameplay looks good from what I’ve seen, the hacking looked very cool.
I would love to get this on the shelf with my infinity stuff, same goes for android netrunner, but KD:M is my board game project at the moment and is likely to be for a good while yet. plus the player vs player mode is not strong enough at present to make infinity obsolete for me.
and yes Ben it would serve double duty with the miniatures being perfect for RPG.
perfect for you though mate. I know when it comes to scifi you have a thing for cyberpunk, with that cyberpunk RPG you run and your android netrunner collection you’d be set.
got to get my hands on big girl though, she’s top draw.
the figures do look fabulous.
Great minis indeed
I started with the first Human Interface kickstarter so that I can use the miniatures for Kuro (a cyberpunk rpg combined with ghost stories). This second kickstarter has some amazing miniatures, like the Big Girl.
I am impressed by what I see.
