Infinity: Defiance makes for a good starting point to get involved with Infinity itself and thankfully, Corvus Belli has made the game's heroes and villains compatible with the regular tabletop game! Come and learn about how they've done that!

So many Infinity models to paint…
This is awesome i always wanted to try infinity but didn’t have how but with this game I can get that plus a dungeon crawl game. Its a win win
Looking forward to apparently jumping into Combined Army.
My back log of Infinity models to be painted is getting longer. This however is not a bad thing.
This Kickstarter is really going to increase my painting backlog! I’m stoked to have an easier entry point for new folks.
This could be my cue to give Infinity another go. So many models!

I like everything about the KS except the half-torso upgrade. I do not understand why we could not get a full figure nor why there is no way to get additional body parts. There have been a few including myself who have commented on this in the KS but we are getting put down by the hardcore Infinity players.
Having said that, while I understand that this KS is a way to get new people into Infinity, there is at least half of the backers who are just into board games and I do not believe their concerns are being considered (more game tiles, more scenarios)– will there be future expansions Defiance or this is a one time game?
This is why I went all in. Models, Models, and more Models.
Soon, we will have so many Combined Army new players !

cross compatibility.m is awesome will make for a good campaign if you can mix and match the two in a single campaign. Ie tactical and strategic battles

Nice to see the compatibility between the two games.
I’m very happy to hear that many more Infinity figures and characters will make their way into Defiance. However, as someone who loves the Infinity background, but likes the Defiance system better, I’m concerned that this will be released and then not supported.

Infinity is one of those games I’ve played with a friend a few times and really enjoyed it but have never bought into it yet.
Everything being compatible is just awesome!!!
Arriving tomorrow…Operation Wildfire. Arriving in 3 weeks…someone to play Infinity with. Life is good. Cross compatibility is great. I thought I would ask about the cool T-shirt Justin is wearing in the intros, but I really want one of those Defiance t-shirts Carlos is wearing. And the expansion packs…and more Infinity terrain. You mad lot are a very bad influence!
This was a good choice to have profiles in the skirmish game for these minis. With the variety of mixed sectorials, many of these could find a spot in current collections

If I want to use Infinity Miniatures in Defiance do the cards come with the game or do I have to buy them separately?

Cool to see all the Infinity crossover, the profiles look real fun. I also love the idea of a competitive version, really hope we get to see that.
I like that these models will be compatible with Infinity. I always assumed that this would be the case but I’m glad it’s confirmed.
Well, if you get the add-on boxes you are certainly set for a nice CA army.

I hope this winds up being a great go to game to play, but at least I have these great minis and fluff if Defiance isn’t my style of game.
For those who currently play Infinity, is Defiance looking to be a good core for a Shaasvasti force? I’ve yet to find a local demo game but was considering picking up Wildfire as I like their aesthetic.

Are the Aristeia dice compatible?
Yeah, with the full deluxe pledge you definitely get enough for a Combined army. Good to know the add on reinforcement packs are currently available models. I already have Onyx contact box set so this looks like I’m good for Combined army with the Defiance models.

Really excellent minis across the Infinity range.
I spent a good chunk of yesterday reading the lore to Infinity. I had a free PDF voucher for Modiphius so I downloaded the RPG rule book. There’s about 30 pages of background in there. Wow, I never knew it was so deep. Brought me back to whether I should actually be looking at full Infinity rather than defiance. Then I looked at the 526 page rulebook (1 of 2 that seem to be required) and thought “yeah, maybe Defiance is the way to go”!

When do I get my CA army again?
At the end of the day its the same models so compatibility was pretty much a given, anything else would be really strange. Whether they make more profiles available for Defiance for the main range, beyond the CA, is the question.
The all in deal is a really great deal if you want to get into Infinity … and want the CA. There are more models here that realistically you will need for a long time. If you don’t Defiance isn’t really opening the door more than a tiny fraction.
Looks intresting. If only my friends would be intrested in playing I’d maybe back it.
Sorry if i missed this in the video but do you need to buy the upgrade pack to be able to use the minis in Defiance? I already own the Onyx Contact Force so don’t really want to re-buy the models and am hoping I don’t have to in order to get any cards/tokens etc… required to use them in Defiance. The Kickstarter stretch goals seem to suggest that the cards are included as a free stretch goal for everyone but I am so used to companies making us buy the same things again in order to get access to the cards etc… to use them in a different game that I am nervous.
I just saw in the Game Extras and Accessories video that the upgrade packs are just minis. The cards are indeed included in the deluxe pledge as free stretch goals. I love Corvus Belli even more now 🙂 I am so all in on this one.

Not sure if this been asked. but will there be cards and mission for the older box starter sets base on the Defience game. I would like to play mission against Pan-o or Yu jing at some point.
Imma get it just for the CA, an actual game is a bonus…

I’ve always wanted to start an Infinity army, but I never went out of my way to order their models through the very limited retailers that hold Infinity (at least in Canada). Now, with KickStarter, Infinity will drop at my door, so no more excuses! Combined Army incoming with the Defiance all-in!
Infinity is one of my favourite games I’ve yet to jump in on. A friend introduced never the game and I loved it, but I moved away and where I moved to no one played it. I’ve now moved back and my friend has moved away.
I am in defiance myself, I am trying to defy the odds of winning a second prize from you guys

The Combined Army figures available in Defiance would create a good army for the Combined Army in Infinity without the need to buy more figures. Of course one is free to buy other figures and once you start building an Infinity army it is hard to resist adding to it.
On the one hand, stoked this is compatible. On the other hand, this just gives me a lot of potential armies to get into.

Often, a horde enemy can often be neglected in terms of design and feel (ex. Avengers Chitauri / Ultron minions), but the Combined Army has such a great flavour to them in both look and play stats. Hope to get my hands on them!

It’s a smart move to make these models cross compatible. It not only increases the value for people it also allows for people to insert their own models with which they have a personal connection into the game which just increases the emotional input.
Outstanding miniature i wish some of the new heroes werent lock behind different pledges and could be purchase as add-on
