never played infinity, but this looks like a great place to start.
Game looks hella fun. I bought the Ariadna starter set around 5 years ago but have only managed to get one game in all that time 🙁
That’s how it goes. Sometimes have to travel 6000 miles to play one of my son’s favorite games.
What a great Gatewaygame and way to start Infinity!
Does it come with orcs? 😉
Yes, Pano has ORC troopers
https://store.corvusbelli.com/wargames/infinity/miniatures/orc-troops
😀 😀 😀
I’ve been waiting for this one all year … Models are gorgeous.
who let the dog out XD
I wonder if there will be any Tohaa hero… About Tohaa villains we know already 🙂
Looks like a great game.
Cool that it is all compatible with Infinity.
All the Shasvasti you get would be great to bolster my Morat army.
Feels a little like Imperial Assault. I like the layout of the Character cards and the board tiles. Definitely look forward to this.
This looks like a perfectly designed game to get people into the universe; mechanics similar to Aristea and Infinity goodness.
That’s a frikkin’ sweet profile pic. Go Hawks!!!!
Okay can I get an all Nomad group, heck make one for all the factions even Combined Army
Played infinity from its start and loved the game though always played at the basic level and for fun. So I love this new easy look
Models look great. Been waiting on this KS
looking forward to see what it all brings 🙂
Always been a fan of the Tohaa, but struggled to get into the game . This looks like the jump off point I’ve been looking for!
Really appreciate the opportunity to see how the game is played. Goodness, these models look so good. Love the mecha aesthetic on the power suits and how cute the PALs are.
Everything about this looks brilliant, I really like the mini sculpts and would LOVE to paint them!
Gerry has fun, as it looks. The snarky sarcasm is through the roof, rarely do you get to see him so giddy 😉
Please let this be as good as I need it to be…
Looks like a fantastic set!
The campaign system sounds great, but best of all you lads had a great time playing. Nice work Carlos and Corvus Belli!
Only getting into tabletop the last year but my god do these models look awesome
This could possibly pair very well with the Infinity RPG by Modiphius with the storytelling possibilities presented. Looks great.
use the RPG for story, Defiance to advance the story in battle and Infinity when it’s time to throw down.
Are the missions design in sequence in such a way that you can build and paint as you go? Will you have 3 or 4 missions before you have to worry about building and painting the Big Bad for example?
Raise your hand if you want more Movie voice @warzan!
I already pledged and I have been following the development of the game (in english and spanish) but @warzan enthusiasm would have been enough to have me pledge LOL!
I really hope we have get future expansions beyond the KS. Full Infinity is too much for me but I can see this being taken to the table on a weekly basis. Plus, I can’t wait to paint the miniatures.
Finally, would love to hear if there will be an online web page that could create stat cards for additional Infinity figures not offered as part of the KS.
I’ve bought in on the KS to go with my Aleph army. I’ll be interested to see what the unlocks are.
I like that it uses the Aristeia engine. This is a game to play with my very competitive family. Cooperative games are a good way for us to play together in a positive way. I can’t wait to try it out.
That was a ton of fun to watch and is getting me even more excited about this game! Corvus Belli did a great job taking all the great things of both Aristeia! and Infinity and combining them into something amazing.
I have been waiting for this to funky hit Kickstarter and it is better that i imagined
Quick flowing game and as always Gerry was keeping Justin in check.
And Warzan was does a fine dog impression. Another one of his many hidden talents.
I’m agreeing with Warzan. This is a way for me to play Infinity more often.
The deluxe edition looks like there’s plenty for a combined army. Maybe there is enough with the basic set even.
Looking forward to see how the kickstarter develops!
I want to have Operation Wilfire for me and my wife (i did not win the last one). Looking forward to Defiance 🙂
the enemy minis are perfect, the art style is really popping which is something i tend to like for sci fi games
Very tempted to back this.
With a name like Firststrike,@warzan and @dignity should have swapped characters…
I don’t know, if i join this campaign or not. Don’t need the minis, and another Dungeon Crawler…meh.
This certainly looks like a fast game. When you get more familiar with the game I think the game would go even faster. Certainly looks like a great intro to Infinity for new people.
Reminds me a little of Chronicle X from Archon – I lookforward to giving it a shot.
Woo my manager took a great week to be off. Now I can watch this instead of doing real work!
Alpha strike Protocol: 018 “Don’t let fun get in the way of success” ><
Alpha strike Protocol: 036 "Hope for the best prepare for the worst"
Also does Carlos think Justin's name is actually Captain Alpha Strike. Cause that would be wonderful
PS. Dammit lads my wallet can't afford to support this. But I wannit
I have a horrible feeling I would play much like Warren….. ArgWoooo!!
Carlos you totally need Warren to voice a companion app for this game LoL
It looks interesting… but I just backed for the the first time in two years with League of Infamy, plus I have Imperial Assault and Star Saga which are very similar.
And it’s metal minis that require assembly which is a big negative for me… had some bad experiences with metal minis.
This was a great play through. Gave a good sense of the game.
This looks like a great opportunity to get to know the Infinity background. I’m looking forward to see what the Kickstarter will eventually encompass.
The rules seems easy enough, the models look fantastic and the setting is great to.
I think I will join in on this game.
I might have to stock up on dog biscuits just to be safe.
another game to add to my list of wants. by the way, does anyone know anything about the “tower of the elephant’ kickstarter?
Aaaaaand backed.
After seeing this Let’s Play it turned an almost certain pledge into a Is It Here Yet?!?
I’ve tried to get into full Infinity, but just can’t give it the time. I think this will strike the right balance for me.
Dungeon Crawler part is just an add-on to my new Shasvastii for regular Infinity 😉 Will be nice to play with wife/non-wargaming friends sometimes as well.
I wish this would be supported beyond Kickstarter. This “only on KS” scares me. I like my games living, with plenty of expansions coming in the future – especially if it’s a minuiatres game.
Also, anyone else getting Mass Effect vibes? (usally don’t edit my spelling mistakes, but the M in ‘Mass Effect’ is really important!)
Looks like a good game gents. Glad I backed it.
The Aggro mechanic looks to works well with this AI. MERCS Recon had a similar threat system that made AI priority clear (are there other dungeon crawlers with a similar mechanic? haven’t played a lot). I’ve played a fair bit of Aristeia! and the dice with switches add a lot to the game’s tactics and flexibility. Expect it to be even better in Defiance.
Defiance is looking really fun. Love the campaign aspects
KS is on fire, things look good in Infinity land.
I gotta say, as a new player with some interest in CA, Defiance is giving me a great chance to pick up an army… and get a whole other game as part of the deal.
As a new player of Infinity with some interest in CA, this is a great chance to grab an army. The whole other co-op game is a sweet bonus.
This looks really fun can’t wait for it
looks great, just what we need to get new players, to play infinity.
Warren should really get a red wig and go as dog-boy for Halloween! Or just not get trimmed for a few days and dye his pelt red…
It looks a LOT like star wars imperial assault at a glance. Like, a lot?
Not saying I’m not interested, that’s a good game and I love infinity, but like, a lot.
It looks so easy to pick up and rather intuitive. Can’t wait for the postman.
It does look good but I am juuuuuuuust wondering what it offers over and above Blackstone Fortress, Core Space, Human Interface etc… or am I just buying the gorgeous miniatures? I think we all know I am going to buy it but I’m going to enjoy all the OTT content and KS campaign before deciding!
Finally got a chance to finish watching this. 3 sittings. Well worth it!
Looks like a great game! Can’t waist to finally get stuck into the world of Infinity!
love the dice an counters but ill need a idiot board to play the game for a time.
a great fun game video guys.
Looks fun.
The minis look great.
So much fun. Wonder if my kids would play with me?
“And remember, pilots are people, too!” Following Gerry around at a gaming convention would be a rare experience. Thanks to you, Warren, and your dog-boy enthusiasm, I have both the Corvus Belli AND the folks at Shadowborne digging a kickstarter furrow in my wallet ;)>
This might be a great game to bring some of my regular gaming group into Infinity. Right now only one plays the table top game with me.
This will be usefull to introduce friends into this univers!
Looking forward to getting into this world and also see how the metal miniatures look and work.
Loved the dungeon delving mechanics. One of my favourite Let’s Plays that reminded me of the good vibes from the Kingdom Death Monster series.
Will that playmat be available?
Did it seemed a little difficult? Anyway i like coop games because i can play them solo, if i can’t find other players.
The gameplay looked really nice, I hope it’s as much fun as Aristeia!=)
I want to play so bad!!! I love Infinity but love board games too. Such a cool combo.
Always good to see a Lets Play
A dungeon crawler will always catch my attention…a sci fi doubly so
great game, really looking forward to this
Played the demo game last saturday at Spiel in Essen. Realy loved it and had lots of fun. Now seeing you guys play it and have a good time confirms to me that I was right backing the Kickstarter. Hope Corvus Belli does realy well and lots of stretchgoals will be unlocked.
What happens between missions, can a character only visit one of the ship location between each mission?
Stunning quality of components and a very fan and engaging gameplay. What more can you ask from a game?
The gameplay looks good, but I will have to try it myself to see just how much I enjoy it.
Didn’t Cuervo Goldstein say “Don’t fight the Gwailo”
I switch about too much between games to get good enough with the rules to play infinity and haven’t been able to convince my group to try aristeia. This could be the one, worst case I can just play solo.
Only problem is it’s kickstarter but I can understand why.
Please please please please PLEASE do a general retail release of this! It looks far too good to be a kickstarter exclusive!
Seems familiar. I do enjoy the world though, so probably will pick up.
This is fantastic, can’t wait!
I was wondering if it would wear thin after a few games as I imagine they are all quite similar, but I can see the ongoing appeal with the option for wounds and training etc
Looks fast and fun, deceptively simple but intuitive. I imagine there will be some more crunch as other gear and abilities come into play in later missions. This is the tutorial mission after all. Feeling very tempted.
This game looks really exciting!
I had looked at infinity but not many players in my area, this would be a great way to introduce the delights of infinity to more people.
Can not wait for this to deliver, looks class and hopefully it’ll help to get my mates into infinity
I want to play now and not wait for the kS to end!
The game was fun to watch. Rules do not appear too complicated and the way the AI works is interesting.
Backed. Looking forward to the rest of the campaign.
So, after Valkyrie walked onto the ship wasn’t there an AI turn missed before the dog slobbered and did nothing?
I am really interested in seeing how hacking will work here.
I need to win this!
I am liking this as its like a game I could follow and enjoy.
Sarcasm for the Win… especially the snarky type.
Would like to see more of this to get a better idea of how the game plays long-term. The random popping up of Shasvasti soldiers made this mission appear a bit too much hack-and-slash and not that much tactics.
But perhaps the campaign gameplay will change that.
Super Cool , this game is my chance to get back to gaming with one of my favorite game , since i have move to a city where people to play Infinity this game is really my chance to get that feeling back,
Thanks Corvus Belli 😛
Infinity looks like a fun game.
really nice gameplay, i like the mechanics
Can’t wait to have it!
Cannot wait for this !!
I really love how intuitive the mechanics are and how quickly new players will be able to pick it up because of them.
This looks rad!
Interesting mechanics, but mainly drawn to it for the minis
Really looks good. I do like the Aristeia dice system, and this seems like a great way to play in the Infinity Sphere.
Seems to be a fairly elegant system. I am curious how flexible the ai is.
This looks like a lot of fun, especially for my board gaming friends or people who’ve only gotten into lighter miniature games. The figures are gorgeous as always, but the mechanics look pretty solid.
Still makes me wonder why there isn’t an Infinity video game out at this point. These rules could set it as an X-Com like system.
Got me to break out Aristeia again. Can’t wait for this!
Watching thru the let play again i realized i would like to see co-op or solo play added to the next iteration of Infinity the game.
