Carlos and Killian from Corvus Belli join Justin in the studio to look at the new Smoke & Mirrors expansion for Aristeia.

The first ever box of Smoke & Mirrors is opened and its beautiful contents spilt across the table. Not only do we see each model as it comes in the box, but Carlos has also brought along a painted version to salivate over. The Smoke and Mirrors expansion also adds interesting new mechanics to Aristeia.

I already got this expansion, hopefully will get to test some characters out this weekend.
Murtair seems like a fun date. He’s kinda cute in that skirt.

Its cool to see Aristeia getting new expansions.
We’ve got a great Infinity community here, but A! just hasn’t caught on. Think for a lot of us it’s competing with all our other board games.
they look great painted, even though they are plastics. Lately I have wanting to play Aristeia! more than Infinity

Haven’t played Aristeia yet, but it looks amazing and this expansion is another great product for it. Love Tao Wu and his ability to influence your opponent’s choices.
No one really plays this in my area. Sad really .kosmos looks like a fun date .
While all the models look good I would probably date kosmo once lol. Seems the safest bet.
Werewolf look the best.
Really love the way each expansion adds interesting interactions between the players and the teams they put on the board.

That cool Aristeia/Infinity mini they’re selling for gencon made me check out Aristeia and it seems pretty cool. The rules fairly simple, at least compared to Infinity.

The plastic miniatures look great. I hope they do more games that use plastic miniatures.
A mass battle Infinity game in plastic would be great.
Inquisitor Mendoza and Táo Wù are the best in my opinion.
You guys really should do a lets play with teams made out of the base game and the two expansions.

Even after the main box and previous expansion, I continue to be surprised at how much detail they’re getting in their plastics!
Not bad, but I’m afraid this game is getting new models and new rules way too fast.

love the minis but couldn’t get into the game I hope more of the aristras get the dart treatment and get stat lines for infinity

Altough I don’t play Aristea these are some fine looking minis. I think I would use them for the HVTs in a regular game of Infinity.

Liking the mini`s and the paint work is great. If i played this game, i would have to pick Inquisitor Mendoza something to do with burning. Not that i would mind.

I just bought this game, haven’t played it yet, but this expansion looks like it will add a lot to it. Looking forward to trying it out.
