Re the faux wooden bases for my Burrows and Badgers minis: yes, it was – like a wise man put it – a happy accident. I call it One Thin Coat, which consists of (if correctly remembered) one slightly thinned down coat of Mournfang Brown over a white base, painted with a thick but smooth brush 😉
