We find out about Wooden Mechanica in the world of Guild Ball and the many shapes and sizes it takes as we discover more about the Engineer's Guild.

This Guild like to play an accurate short-range passing game using a mixture of humans, humanoid creations (some of which have been destroyed and re-built into more fierce competitors) and mascots with hidden talents.
Sometimes they find a ball fired from a crossbow does the trick just as well!

I love the mechanical aspect of engineers. It brings something different to the game visually.

The paint jobs on the studio figs are amazing!!!!! Kudos to their painter.
After looking at the Guilds so far I am wondering if here is not just a hint of the Discworld in the Guildball universe.

I’m totally torn between these guys and their new Season 3 rules or waiting for Farmers… I have too many Guilds already… so trying to hold off… but so tempting… I do have Compound nearly done so he may be the catalyst (not Katalyst) that gets me into Engineers… (of course, Hunters look sweet… and Morticians would be fun… and I do probably need to add to my Kick off Mason’s… argh!) =p

This is the faction I play. I love it. The passing game is great.

This is one of the few guilds I haven’t seen played yet. Really interested to see how they interact with the teams I know a bit better.
Haven’t seen this guild play, a short passing game could be a very succesful tactic.
Plus the paint jobs on these really is eyecatching. Really nice work by the steamforged studio painters.
These guys are particularly interesting to me. Might well give them a go!
Engineers. I imagine deployable’s, traps/deniers, weaker human characters with finesse, and walking tank, slow constructs who are big bruisers.
Velocity is awesome, Sext teak robot/cyborg. Awesome mascots. My favorite faction of today and of all 6 so far

Really nice models and paint jobs are fantastic, particularly those gears and cogs on the fabric. Short passing game sounds like a winning tactic however.
I don’t recall seeing a single duff Guild Ball model, but those construct models are truly outstanding!

Not a fan of the styling on the wooden co struts, but I like some of their other models.
A passing team, could be fun. The models are very cool and i could see them painted in lots of diffrent ways.
I don’t intend to play the Engineers but I pick up vet Velocity just to paint. The four arms and six knives are just too cool.
I think this will be my second team after Hunters
Cool looking minis but I don’t think it would be a faction I’d pick for myself.

the play style for these guys is really appealing to me, The figures are really cool also.
I’m still completely blown away with the paint job! Really like this faction too. It’s getting hard to choose a favorite.

Well, that’s gonna be my next faction for sure. I’m just waiting for the 6-player pack comming out in May I think.

i love these miniatures
I like engeneers, builders, steam fitters and the likes in many a more or less fantastical setting. These here though aren’t really my cup of tea. Those contraptions and autonomous automatons are a bit over the top for the feel of the setting for my taste.
Ridiculous as it sounds, the engineers apron is enough to make me want to buy these.

Not too attracted by this faction in general, but I love them mascots 🙂
I’m really impressed with all the variety available with the different guilds.
I learnt to play witn engineers and butchers. I almost went with engineers.
Love the Engineers, all that wood and metal mechanics is superb looking. I also like the subtle detail on the aprons with the cogs and other imprints, really stunning looking minis. I think their mascots will also give you some iteresting options in the game. Once again the studio painted minis are awesome and really inspiring.

The Engineer’s Guild.just don`t do it for me, ya they`ve got a good way of scoring, but who needs a “Crossbow” when you`ve got an “Otter”
