Get your hands on a brand-new "monster" kit for you to use alongside the Hundred Kingdoms in games of Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings. This 35mm Fantasy kit is a little bit different in that it's actually a monster of a siege engine! Check out the Trebuchet.

Hundred Kingdoms Trebuchet - Conquest

Hundred Kingdoms - Trebuchet // Conquest

With ranks and ranks of men-at-arms defending castles acting as the backbone of the Hundred Kingdoms, the Emperors of the Tellian Empire decided that they also needed a way to breach them! With that in mind, the Imperial Collegia developed the Trebuchet, a deadly machine of war that could smash through the walls of even the most stalwart fortress. Would it also be rather good at punching a hole through ranked up infantry, or perhaps the way to knock the block of a jotnar?

Hundred Kingdoms Trebuchet Crew - Conquest

Hundred Kingdoms - Trebuchet Crew // Conquest

The Trebuchet works differently depending on the game you use it in. In First Blood, it has the choice of three different payloads. Smash armoured foes with boulders, set enemies on fire with a pot of boiling boil or blow them away with an explosive barrel.

If you go into The Last Argument of Kings, then you can use those three distinct ammunition types to greater effect against larger units. The firepower that this can put out comes at a cost; however. Once it has been deployed, it cannot move or rotate! You will have to wait until the last moment to make sure you get the most out of it.

Hundred Kingdoms Trebuchet Box - Conquest

Hundred Kingdoms Trebuchet // Conquest

As you might expect, killing the crew reduces the effectiveness of the Trebuchet, so make sure you've got someone watching over them as the enemy advances.

This set from Para Bellum Wargames comes with a full plastic Trebuchet as well as three alternative slingshot types. You also get the eight plastic crew miniatures and eight decorative pieces for you to use on the base.

Are you going to be picking one up for the Hundred Kingdoms?
