Pre-Order The Song of the Dormant For Corvus Belli’s Warcrow
July 14, 2025 by brennon
The next big Battle Pack is available to pre-order from Corvus Belli for their 32mm Fantasy wargame, Warcrow. Song of the Dormant introduces two new factions to Warcrow in a battle between the light of good and the creeping shadow of evil! Pre-orders will run from July 28th to August 4th.
The Song of the Dormant Battle Pack // Warcrow
Inside this introductory battle pack, you'll find the devout warriors and priestesses of Feudom, the stalwart paladin-esque and cleric-themed defenders of the realm. They are going to be going up against the silenced empire of the Scions of Yaldaboath, who are returning from the shadows.
New Feudom Miniatures
On the one side of the conflict, you have Feudom, who are led by Verena of Aurtigard. She is backed up by Morgane of JauCret Syzigian and one of the Knights of the Sacred Relic. The ranks of the Feudom are then swelled by four Feudom Guisarmiers.
Feudom Miniatures // Warcrow
Verena brings two potent spells to the tabletop. One has high damage potential, whilst the other is defensive and can cut incoming damage in half. Morgane can then debuff and weaken enemies whilst the towering Knight of the Sacred Relic blends together support attributes as well as being able to deal some hefty area damage.
The Guisarmiers then cap things off. They can also disarm enemies and, with the aid of their Feudom characters, they are able to hold out in combat whilst they wait for the brave knights to charge to their rescue.
New Scions of Yaldaboath Miniatures
Going up against the Feudom, you also have the fearsome and very different Scions of Yaldaboath. The set is led by Uruk, He Who is Without Prejudice. You also get Needle, Breath and four of the Intact.
The Scions of Yaldabaoth // Warcrow
Uruk is a lethal killer who has plenty of high mobility abilities to keep him in the action. His self-healing then means he can keep fighting on the front lines for longer. Should that fail, Needle backs up Uruk and can heal allies when both attacking and defending. Dead troops can also be revived!
Breath then steps in and helps to apply glorious taint to your enemies and also cleanse negative states from your own troops. A great option for bringing together the Scions as a well-oiled fighting force. The Intact finish things off with their fearsome attacks that can ignore enemy defences!
The set also comes with everything else you need to play, including a gaming mat, terrain, accessories, cards and more.
The Song of the Dormant Battle Pack - Contents // Warcrow
If you weren't particularly taken by the Hegemony of Embersig or The Northern Tribes, then this might be a great entry point into Warcrow. You've got two awesome forces to choose from, including the classic Fantasy-inspired Feudom and the twisted Scions of Yaldaboath.
Beyond The Song of the Dormant!
If you'd like to expand The Song of the Dormant Battle Pack, then you can already get in your pre-orders for reinforcements that take your games to the next level.
Beyond The Song of the Dormant // Warcrow
Six miniatures are included in this set. The Feudom get access to Amaury Boissonade, Major Penitentiary, who finds themselves flanked by two Mace Escorts. The Scions of Yaldaboath then get Irkalla, the Maw, who is joined in battle by the Anointed.
Beyond Feudom - Miniatures // Warcrow
Amaury is a high-risk/high-reward character for the Feudom who combines magic, mobility and dice manipulation. The Mace Escort then do what it says on the tin, protecting important allied characters, switching between offensive and defensive modes.
Irkalla, the Maw, is an utterly devastating war machine of a character that becomes stronger the more damage she takes. She is going to be utterly devastating unless you deal with her!
Beyond The Scions of Yaldabaoth - Miniatures // Warcrow
Similar to the Mace Escorts, the Anointed are protective characters that can spend stress to move alongside a character and enhance their attacks. Imagine the combinations you can do with Irkalla!
These miniatures are going to be available to pre-order soon from a variety of retailers, including Corvus Belli themselves. Get stuck in snap them up ahead of the release in August.
