A terrifying triumvirate of undead is now available for Blood Legacy a vampire-infested expansion for Frostgrave. Sculptor Matt Bickley has done magnificent work on these very feral bloodsuckers that will work stalking your wizard's warbands on the tabletop, or a myriad of other games that require the walking dead.
Will you be staking out the release of these vampires?

Yeah, Frostgrave, and vampires as well. What’s not to like.
Great looking classic vampires/stragoi figures
Very nice indeed.
Nice to see Northstar getting a look in (rather than just endless regurgitation of endless GW “news” as they like to release “titbits” of info over about 5 articles. But then I suppose that’s how you keep your company profile at the top). I must admit over the past year BoW has done a lot more to cover Northstar (from almost nothing), as well as more independents news (Indie of the Week being the reason why I watch the Weekender these days as I discover (and rediscover) companies and minis I didn’t know about previously).
On one of these my only “niggle” is probably the female vamp mini. As it’s one piece it’s perhaps TOO 2D (to fit in the mold) and perhaps could have done with the arms being separate to make the pose a bit more realistic (although a simple fix would be to angle the hand to add a “twist” to bring the staff more across the body. A fix that most of us could do fairly easily (perhaps a good opportunity to do so if you’ve never tried reposing a figure before). Either a simple twist or bend for a slight repose to cutting off the hand to add more of an angle and drill and repin the hand holding the staff back on.
As you said Gerry the minis could be used in a multitude of games (anything from D&D as well a Frostgrave/Shadows etc), they also do a VERY nice pair of more humanoid Vampires huddled up in winter clothing which is trimmed with furs (gives then a rather “noble” or VIP look to your minis) and perfect for the wintery climate of Frostgrave.
Hoping we’ll see more of these reviews of blisters (rather than just the big budget items like the boxed games), along with more historical coverage (I see Victrix have repackaged some of the Dark Age plastics into a “Skirmish” pack to make them a bit more budget friendly for using them with Warband/Skirmish games).
probably won’t see the Victrix skirmish packs as they are just the bigger bags that I’ve already looked at but with half the figures.
Some unboxings coming from Wargames Atlantic and I’ve some 1898 French and pike and shot to look at in the near future as well.
I do love Matt Bickley’s sculpting style for the vampires, the Russian pair would be ideal for Silver Bayonet as well.
Didn’t think of that, indeed those Vampire would certainly look the part in any Silver Bayonet games. BTW here’s the link for those of you who don’t know what we’re talking about….
