Maybe there could be an option of a “BoW Premium” membership so those people who wished could switch over and pay a little extra to help out? Naturally I’d expect that the premium membership would come with numerous vague, intangible and unquantifiable bonuses like 23% more awesome and 17% extra positive vibes… Or maybe an exclusive Sexy Furious wallpaper so users could feel like Ben was logging in to their PC to chat about Burrows and badgers or dwarven kickstarters?…

Seriously, with the new site architecture in place it does seem like a logical time to revisit the subscription price. Setting another tier without loss of content for those on the 3.79 might be a way to do it without detrimentally impacting on our more price sensitive community members. I’ve been a member for a few years, in that time my council rates have gone up 15%, electricity bills about 20% and my health insurance about 25%. I am sort of dumbfounded that the BoW sub is still so low, but at the same time I do appreciate that some community members might not be able to absorb ta price increase for what is in effect a luxury…
