Response time…

@lancorz achievements look good, some nice diverse categories. Good to see 🙂

@torros that pirate radio comment made me giggle. I played Elite a bit on the C64. my main source of frustration was the docking procedure – inevitably you have to dock manually before you can get a docking computer, so most of my ships ended up shattered wrecks breaching the superstructure of floating space stations… Brilliant game concept though, way ahead of it’s time (this was the era of side scrollers, text adventures and platform games after all…).

@dawfydd quite enjoyed the main campaign in the Battletech game, since finishing that though I have moments where the game just feels like a mindless grind. But then I remember that I’m running around the Battletech universe with my own mercenary company, and everything seems right again. Haven’ checked out any of the mods yet, might need to look at that at some stage in the future.

@mage have seen reskins/new paint jobs on the pre-painted mins for X-wing but never considered actually repainitning normal ‘toys’ – keen to see how the project works out. The sabretusks (are they still called that?…) were never my favourite GW sculpt but you have made them look quite cool with that colour scheme – well played. Unless I’m reading @lancorz post wrong I think you have infinite Xp to award as usual, and then a separate pool of 500 to award at the end based on achievements? Otherwise we may be out of XP by Sunday lunch if things are busy this weekend 😛

@limburger I was thinking that recipe was looking not too unhealthy until I saw that sugar was listed as 3 of the ingredients. They do look good though… Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Kill Team. I’m seriously considering jumping in, if only to use it as an excuse to paint a bunch of different small forces and play with some conversions a little. I like the more narrative feel too.

@mage Um.. @limburger has room on the tray for another 40 long finger biscuits?…

@biggabum ok so Matty may be facing the wrong way for the moon, but is he facing the right way for the zombie apocalypse? I think Samuel L Jackson would be great in any role he pleases. Great thing about actors is that the older they get the more experience they have, and the more they can bring to a role. That’s why I think the actors who do theatre a lot as well as films end up becoming so much more accomplished, they have to nail things day in day out every night of the week first time with no opportunity for a re-take. So then you end up with people of the calibre of Dame Helen Mirren, Sir Ian McKellen or Dame Judi Dench. OK, so that might not get cast in the latest hollywood reboot but apparently they do get honorifics 🙂

You can let Matty know that the moon has been doing it’s thing for a few hours now and there are no zombies here so he is probably OK to stand down 🙂 Terrible grainy photo follows (sorry, I don’t have a zoom lens, telescope etc)…
