@biggabum great looking work on the BMG stuff. Can definitely see where the weak point on the Batgirl mini was. Stupid dynamic poses 😛 No haven’t seen Red or Red 2 – will add to my to-watch list. Nice work on the black and skin-tone on Bane.
@dawfydd thanks for the link. The camera overrides sound like they would sort one of the minor gripes I did have with the game. Ammo cooking – Ha! back to basics with that one 🙂
@limburger have friends who have dropped a tonne of cash into Star Citizen – it does sound like it will be amazing when it eventually does land. I remember hearing that Microsoft rolled out a game which was for all intents and purposes an upgraded version of Wing Commander Privateer a few years ago – can’t remember the name though… Shiny loot! I do like the look of that blacksmith kit, but can’t justify as I already have an alternative blacksmith. Have you seen the new windmill kit that 4Ground just released? I’ll have to concede I’m sorely tempted – would make fields and farms terrain look a lot more interesting…
@tuffyears fantastic view! I’m kind of weird but I like to watch enterprise happening – freighters, road trains buildings being built etc. What are you looking at for Kill Team? I can feel myself getting sucked into picking up the starter box… And 5th ed? What characters are you looking at?
@torros does sound interesting. I know next to nothing about the cartoon style of animation and how it works as an industry. The game looks like fun. What system were you using? Am really starting to come around to the idea of smaller scale minis – massed wargames do have such a sense of gravity that you can’t really reflect in 15-28mm.
@mage pic was a link of Obelix form the Asterix comics. I think a block of them would be an interesting and thematic add-on for a Bretonnian army. Never got as far as working on any of the gnoblars for my Ogres. I think I did field the trap gnoblars in one game, but otherwise I just stuck with a pure ogre force. Might need to look at AoS in a bit more detail. Is it a case of grab the starter box, download the warscrolls and away you go or do you still need to go and pick up the relevant faction/army books thereafter?
