So, ‘N’ varnished her poison Ivy mini, worked on her Harley Quinn and began basecoat batch painting on her Moria Goblin horde.
‘M’ brought his Star Wars Legion. We primed everything. The Stormtroopers need one more pass with primer however. I drybrushed the infantry and Luke for the Rebels with Dryad bark whie ‘M’ drybrushed gun metal onto his Scout Walker and did Bugmans Glow on some of the faces. I touched up vader as the Black Primer didnt turn out fantastic. My friend is very eager to do another star wars painting session, and I really want the starter set too! Hes already planning on getting another starter set. He wants rebel squads in different schemes: woodlands, urban and snow warfare. Its great he is thinking ahead and planning a project.
Meanwhile, I am putting the finishing touches on an Easterling themed Mordor Troll for Lord of the Rings and nearly have my Ogor Butcher finished, bringing the Gutbuster army up to 1,000 points fully painted. Then my Temple of Skulls Project will be 80% complete with four armies down and awaiting work on the terrain. Pics to follow as well as points being dolled out.
