1)  If you had to play one game for the rest of your life what would it be?

Rome Total War for PC, probably Bolt Action for tabletop

2) How did you learn of BOW and how why did you become a member of the team community?

Bored student, skint after a heavy weekends drinking some time in Autumn 2010 – stumbled across some videos on youtube. After a few weeks I noticed the banter, that the general demeanour of folks on the site was nicer than most and I thought I’d get in on it. Seem like a nice bunch.

3) What do you enjoy the most about your hobby?

Research! I love historic gaming, I love reading about different eras, obscure people, events, organisational structures, formations, tactics, obscure fluff if it’s fantasy or sci-fi. Building thematic lists is another fun area. So many aspects to the hobby but I find myself putting a lot of time into the books followed by intermittent flurries of building, painting and usually narrative driven games

4) where would you be if you weren’t working for BOW where you work?

Probably in a factory or in the local tourist information centre but to be honest I can’t really imagine being anywhere else now that I’ve had a taste!

5) what is your favourite genre to play games in?

Historic, lot of WW2 and Blackpowder era but I enjoy periods of fantasy and sci-fi as a palette cleanser as I can get a tad obsessive, put tons of energy into something then burn out

6) what are your job roles within BOW where you work?

Borough Councillor and local constituency officer within the party. Quite a bit on policy development, research (quelle surprise), do a lot of report writing, I’m on a lot of committees so I’m a jack of numerous trades but it does mean a lot of meetings and irregular hours. Public relations, do a fair amount of campaigning, social media outreach etc

7) what did you do before BOW your current job?

Worked in the printing industry for four years, then before that, history undergrad

8) favourite all time game?

40k 3rd Edition. It was a crap game really but it was my first big step into the hobby after years of tinkering about with airfix, quite a few of my school mates all jumped in at the same time. Tons of games, tons of enthusiasm, loads of us having fun before we all split off into our different niche areas or started moving away for college and 6th Form, later on uni etc

9) what do your co-workers think is your expertise?

An odd-ball brain-box with a bit of a zealous streak. Expertly lazy haha

10) favourite alcoholic and non alcoholic drink?

Marston’s Pedigree (aka Parsons Medigree after 9 or 10 of em haha), ooh, and Iron Bru (which also happens to be nice with large helpings of vodka)

11) spare time hobby thats not gaming related?

Avid reader, love philosophy, economics, history, also love movies and can occasionally be seen outside a pub (love live music)

12) what do you think others say is your most irritating trait?

I’m fairly bright, but worse, I know I am and sometimes it shows. Also can be a bit lazy.

13) can you lick your own nose?

No, but I can lick yours

14) what do you like the most and hate the most about your job?

Chance to change things, the work I do has meaning. Flip side, people rarely forgive failure, and no matter how hard you try it’s a rare thing to live up to expectations

As an unbitten human, I’d cannibalise Justin. Bit leaner. Imagine he tastes a bit like venison. As one of the undead, probably Warren. All the rest of the team have to do is outrun him, and being a bigger chap myself he’s probably one of the few I’d have a chance of catching up with haha
